I like this studio bc it’s bigger than ballston and usually hotter but recently some instructors have been opening doors 30 minutes before class ends or turning the heat off before class ends for non packed rooms. Which is fine but a lot of us know what we sign up for - an hour class and I get doing that for packed rooms were the heat can double up but for non packed I don’t understand why if we are signing up for hot sculpt. Besides the point I made a complaint about it which in general I never like doing but the owner or manager idk what she was (older lady with blonde hair) was so dismissive and basically brushed what I said off, she mentioned the thermostat having issues but I said if it’s having issues why open the doors/turn the heat off bc I’m assuming it’s not getting hot all the way..I had to walk away from her bc it was disrespectful the way she was dismissive mostly when someone is taking time to let you know what is happening like even if you don’t agree act or pretend you do, it’s CUSTOMER SERVICE. Pretty sure if it was someone else (if you catch my drift) she would be responsive and not dismissive. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Quite possibly the best-run yoga studio in the country. Melissa, the current manager, is exceptional, she operates the studio with precision and consistency, and it shows. Classes start on time, cancellations are virtually nonexistent, and the space is always immaculate. She leads a motivated, friendly team of instructors and is an outstanding teacher herself. Coming here is consistently a pleasure.

Disappointing Experience at Clarendon Location I've had positive experiences at other CorePower locations, but my visit today at the Clarendon studio was extremely disappointing. I came in for a drop-in class and was told there was a balance from an unauthorized membership supposedly created in April 2024 that I never signed up for. When I requested documentation proving my consent, the staff member refused to provide it and instead argued with me, used inappropriate language, and made offensive comments. His behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I'm hoping management addresses both the unauthorized account charges and the staff conduct issues. Other locations like Merrifield have always provided excellent, professional service - this was a stark contrast. Currently working with corporate to resolve these issues.

Subject: Feedback on Music Selection – CorePower Yoga Clarendon Dear CorePower Yoga Clarendon Team, As a current member and someone deeply committed to the practice of yoga, I want to share a concern that has been affecting my overall experience in class. Yoga is fundamentally a journey inward — a space to quiet the mind, calm the senses, and reconnect with the present moment. However, I’ve noticed that some instructors play music that feels at odds with this purpose. In particular, songs with prominent lyrics or jarring, inharmonic tones can disrupt the focus and peaceful atmosphere that the practice naturally cultivates. While music can be a powerful support to the flow, I believe it should enhance the inner stillness we seek rather than pull us outward. Calm, ambient, or instrumental music tends to align more closely with the intention of yoga. Lyrics — especially those with emotional or energetic charge — often do the opposite, creating unnecessary distraction. This feedback is shared with deep respect for the instructors and the CorePower community. I truly value the space you provide, and I offer this input in the spirit of helping preserve the integrity and depth of the practice. Warm regards, Juan Diossa -Member
