Brandi, Carol and Alana were the reason i decided to come through class pass - GLAD I never got a membership there since they all 3 were pushed out by management. Management seems to be an ongoing issue at this studio and it seems that many other riders see the issue. High turnover of instructors/riders. It’s Sad because this studio had so much potential with these 3 diverse instructors that actually brought something to this studio. I’ll no longer be supporting this studio that doesn’t treat their employee right. Besides that not worth the contract membership besides the classes due to not being up-kept right, dirty bathrooms, mirrors, bikes, studio room (very obvious) and there’s no true amenities besides their lavender towels. MANY other studios are actually worth the money with clean spaces and tons of amenities.

I have been deeply passionate about CycleBar Columbia Pike over the past year. I recently have emailed management to cancel my membership due to the fact that three of my favorite instructors; Alana, Carol and Brandi have all parted with this studio. The three of them together always had sell out time slots, and brought nothing but positive and high energy to the room. Due to their departure, I have no reason to continue my unlimited membership at this studio. I am deeply saddened to see them go and will be following them to wherever they end up next. I am still waiting on a confirmation email from management stating that they have received my cancellation request. I feel as if I should receive a response from someone so that everything can be finalized properly.

I can honestly say that my entire experience with CycleBar Columbia Pike was shaped by three incredible instructors: Carol, Alana, and Brandi.
Carol is the reason I even decided to start taking cycling classes in the first place. From day one, the energy she brought to every class was unmatched, and it motivated me to become a member. Her classes were the ones I always looked forward to—there was something special about them that I couldn’t find with anyone else. The way she uplifted and supported riders both during and outside of class created such a comforting and motivating environment. At a time when I really needed a space to destress and focus on myself, her classes became exactly that. I would intentionally plan my schedule around her classes because I didn’t want to miss a single ride.
With Alana, I didn’t even realize what I was missing until I took a tandem class with her and Carol—and that experience completely changed everything. After that, I made it a point to take her classes regularly and quickly became a loyal rider of hers. What made Alana stand out was her unique, high-level energy, her hype, and her perfectly curated playlists. Her choreography and movements pushed me in ways that made me a stronger and more confident rider. She also went above and beyond to create a true sense of community, making riders feel seen and valued rather than just another customer.
Brandi is someone I grew to deeply appreciate over time. She has an amazing music taste paired with an even better instructor style. Every class with her felt like a new challenge in the best way possible. Her energy and hype always felt genuine—never forced—and that authenticity really stood out.
Overall, these three instructors are the reason I became so passionate about cycling and the reason I chose to stay as long as I did. I’m truly grateful for the impact they had and for the leadership, motivation, and sense of community they brought during their time at CycleBar Columbia Pike. I am saddened and disappointed in the instructor changes, I wish nothing but the best for these three incredible individuals and I will be following them where they go.

I have mixed feelings about this studio. I have loved the classes here since the fall when I began riding, but all of a sudden my favorites aren’t on the schedule.
Carol was not just one of the best spin instructors I’ve ever had, she was one of the best fitness instructors I’ve ever had in over 20 YEARS of taking group fitness classes. And it looks like she left as well as some others.
Bana at the front desk is so kind and helpful each and every time I attend!
Unfortunately, another woman rudely told me I could only take a cold towel after class not before. I let her know I’m perimenopausal and needed it to cool off because my bike was not underneath a fan and I overheat due to hormonal changes.
This place has the potential to be so much better, but it appears to be going downhill fast. Not sure what is going on but may take my class pass credits elsewhere.

I’m writing this review because of some recent news I just learned about this studio, and honestly I’m really disappointed. They recently let go of a few of their best instructors, and it definitely doesn’t feel like it was performance-related.
One of them was Carol, who used to teach the morning classes. I am NOT a morning person, but I got myself up every Tuesday and Thursday just to take her class. That alone should say a lot. When she moved to the 5:45pm slot, I immediately followed because she’s that good.
Her playlists were always on point, her classes were consistently amazing, and she never came across as fake. That authenticity is rare, and it made a huge difference.
Management really needs to understand that the instructors are what make the experience. They’re the reason people keep coming back. There are so many other great instructors there too, and I really hope they take care of them so they don’t lose more.
