  First, the medical care - Dr. Patel is top notch. She extracted a tooth and installed a post on which my dentist would eventually install the implant. Dr. Patel expertly pulled the tooth and installed the post the same day. I understand that my bone quality played a part in that decision, but she could easily said she needed to wait for the post. Healing was quick. My dentist was pleased with Dr. Patel's work and the implant was easily installed. Second, the office operations - there was an issue billing my insurance that could have resulted in me assessed charges that were not my responsibility. Dr. Patel's office stuck with it for more than a year and I eventually received a refund! They are very ethical! I hope i never need her services again but I would gladly return!

  Posting this here as well as in the Waterfront location because I got my surgery done in Arlington at this practice - Dr. Patel was unfortunately extremely unprofessional. During my surgery while I was being prepped, I heard her yelling at her staff/being exasperated and short with them. When I received an unexpectedly large bill afterwards, she was incredibly short tempered and unwilling to enter into any good faith negotiations. She was speaking over me the entire time we were on the phone, unwilling to hear what I was saying. Her team received an incorrect estimate of my benefits (using a third party website - they didn't reach out to my insurance directly so be wary of their estimates) and so I ended up paying nearly twice the amount they estimated for me. To Dr. Patel's credit, my recovery was mostly smooth, although when I did call to be checked out for any signs of infection, no one from her staff reached out to schedule an appointment with me.

  Everyone was so nice and sweet! Took such good care of me. Shetai was so nice! I had wisdom tooth surgery and I healed perfectly! Thank you!

  I was extremely nervous for my extraction but Dr. Patel and Shatie made me comfortable and were done quickly! I was so excited they brought in kiko (the parrot) when I woke up!

  I was first referred to Dr. Patel several years ago by my general dentist, and have recently seen her again for a different issue. Aside from being an excellent oral surgeon, she exudes warmth and kindness. Although she is extremely busy in her practice, she has always given me personal time and attention. I would recommend Dr. Patel without reservation.
