The person that answers the phone always needs me to Google the phone number for the pharmacy I want a script transferred from (like her hands are broken) and then while I’m doing it she tells me I could just have my doctor send the script there so they don’t always have to transfer it. Just stop being so dam lazy and do your job, Sarah. I don’t need all this feedback. You’ll be the first to know when I have my doctor send this script to Safeway next time around.

I was surprised though that there was no pharmacy tech on a weekend during high volume hours. It increased the wait time and seems like a missed opportunity to better employ multiple skill sets. Having a pharmacist with an advanced degree allocating time for prescription intake, insurance billing, and check out is an odd choice and likely unnecessarily stressful.
