I’ve been to both locations in Alexandria and they’re terrible. Formally known as AllCare, they are not CloseKnit. They did not inform patients of the change or that my Dr. is no longer with the company even though she is still listed on the website. Usually there is a notification and smooth transition if a Dr. leaves but they have been no help. I have made several outreach regarding my medication being out. I have been given a different story each time I call but I’m always advised there will be follow up but no one has contacted me. This is extremely dangerous, unprofessional and frustrated that there is no solution or follow up with a patient.

This is a zero star review. The doctor got my medication wrong, despite my handing her the written prescription. I only figured it out after a massive breakdown. Incompetent doesn’t begin to describe this place. Avoid this clinic like the plague. Oh, and the number listed here doesn’t connect to VA but to Georgia.

I used to love coming to this AllCare when i needed care - they were responsive and professional. Recently, they were bought by Close Knit and since then, I've had the worst experience. I went in for a routine physical almost a month ago. Just bloodwork, nothing complicated. I STILL haven't seen my results. Oh, they're ready - but when I login to my Close Knit portal, I have no labs, I don't even see a record of my visit. I've tried calling their technical line for support but every time I've done that I get hung up on. I JUST WANT MY RESULTS. Leaving this review feels like a last ditch effort. This is so unprofessional, I was billed for that visit, all my information is verified, but the system just doesn't have any record of me and apparently I get zero support.

Went as a walk-in patient a week ago (approximately 11AM on 2/17/26) because I wasn't feeling well and needed to be seen by urgent care. The signs outside their building say "urgent care" and "walk-ins welcome". However, upon giving my insurance information to the receptionist, I was told that they were not actually urgent care but a primary care facility, so they couldn't treat me because I already had a primary care doctor. I was turned away without any help despite telling them I was feeling faint and had driven myself there, and had to find and go to a different facility on my own.

I chose this provider after an insurance change and am not happy with the operations and planning of this network. After a couple initial appointments going well, I scheduled a follow up to receive a vaccine. On the day of the appointment which was specifically made for this vaccine, I waited over 30 minutes for intake to be told that the vaccine wasn’t available at this location and was informed that the last of the vaccine had been administered to someone else. Again, my appointment was specifically set up for this vaccine and one was not allocated to me for this day. The scheduling is finicky and getting ahold of a real person to make any modifications or inquiries isn’t possible without calling an automated phone line and selecting several menu options. For the times I was able to actually see a provider, I did like her a lot and will give her credit.
