WORST PHARMACY! Take your business to a pharmacy that actually CARES, because they DON'T. I have been going to this same pharmacy for years, and I have put up with a lot of unfavorable service, but today, the line has been drawn and I am switching to Dicks pharmacy. My parents USED to go to the Woods Cross location, but they stopped going there about 5 years ago. They became fed up and took their business elsewhere. I, on the other hand, only put up with their apathetic attitude and horrible service out of convenience because that is where I get my groceries. I am done. Tell me how it takes from 11:30 to 5 to get a prescription filled? When you call there, most of the time no one answers...then if they do, and you need to speak to the pharmacist, you are placed on eternal hold. When I call to complain, the pharmacist TALKED OVER ME. My doctor sent over my refill at 11:30 a.m., at about 3:00 p.m, their shift changed. The first pharmacist was very RUDE, and said he needed to talk to the doctor before he could fill my medication. The second pharmacist was an airhead. She said it will be ready in 30 minutes (which would be 4:00). My dad went to pick it up for me; he stood in line for 20 minutes, only to be told it wasn't ready. They then said you can go out to the drive thru and it will be ready by the time you get to the window. Well, he gets to the drive up window, and there are 4 cars in line ahead of him, and they AREN'T moving....20 minutes in the car now, and currently he is STILL WAITING (it's now 5:00). They lied about the meds being ready. I had already made 2 trips to pick it up earlier today. TERRIBLE customer service; UNACCEPTABLE! I wish I could leave ZERO stars, because they don't even deserve one star. I wish I would have followed my parents YEARS AGO, because I wouldn't be dealing with this right now... NEVER AGAIN.

I also would not recommend Smiths Pharmacy. They appear to be understaffed and provide substandard service. It is not unusual to wait over an hour for a simple prescription fill. Somewhere they forgot they are a medical "service" and we have choices. And the mid-day shut down is a joke. Smiths will never go out of their way to call the insurance company or doctor on your behalf, unless you push them hard. Yesterday, my insurance company recommended that we use "anyone besides Smiths". I highly recommend Dick's Family Pharmacy or Costco. I moved all my prescriptions to Dicks a few years ago, it is rare to wait mor than 5 min to fill a prescription and they are always pleasant. After yesterday's experience with Smiths, we will also be moving my wife's prescriptions to Dicks. The irony is Smiths uses the "busy and understaffed" excuse for their very poor service, yet they charge and make the same amount as Dicks. My advice, DON'T USE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!!!!

I called to get an anxiety medication filled bc I was having a panic attack and I needed it right away. She assured me it would be ready in 10 mins. When I got there, the person at the front counter said “oh, the pharmacist is out doing vaccines shots for a long time” I was completely upset and I told them to get that pharmacist in there and fill my medication. I didn’t even get a “sorry” or nothing. 100% disrespectful to your patients. Do yourself a favor and go with a different pharmacy that actually cares about you.

I do not recommend filling your prescriptions here. They under filled me by 20 pills. When I called to ask about it the pharmacist was extremely rude in how he spoke to me and said they double check every prescription so that can’t be possible. He put me on hold and came back a couple minutes later to tell me he did in fact have more pills in his inventory than he should and to come in. I went there and he said he could give me 19 of the 20 missing. Someone is obviously skimming their meds. He just said I will be fine and that is all he can do. Basically rolled his eyes when I tried to push back. They are dishonest and rude.

We called three times to confirm receipt of the prescription. Each time, we were directed to contact the doctor's office, which confirmed the prescription every time. On the fourth call, Doug, the pharmacist and supervisor, yelled at me to call the doctor's office again and then hung up. After having the doctor's office call the pharmacy to confirm the prescription was sent, I made another call to confirm its presence. Despite initial denials, the technician eventually found the prescription. When I inquired about the misunderstandings, the technician couldn't provide an explanation, so she transferred me to the supervisor, Doug, who hung up on me without saying anything. Upon calling again, Doug yelled at me, saying, 'We are preparing your prescription,' then hung up on me. I contacted Ashley, the store manager, directly, who showed empathy and promised to address the issue with the pharmacy team and get back to me by the end of the day or Friday.
