Came because of the easy online way to make an appointment and how soon it was. But I was very impressed with the staff and eye doctor and I’ll definitely be back. Everyone was friendly and the eye doctor was great at explaining things to my 14 year old in a way he could understand. He was very thorough and efficient.

We’ve had nothing but the best experience going here over the last two years. I’m not usually one for chains but after the horrible experience we had at the large local eye center, I was open to anything. The other place tried to bribe us with a gift basket drawing if we wrote a google review as soon as we walked in BEFORE we even had our exam.
Everyone at LensCrafters is professional and friendly. The eye exams are much more thorough here, and we don’t feel rushed. I feel like our eye conditions and options are properly discussed and clearly explained. And I appreciate the other interactions I’ve witnessed with all ages of customers.
My only complaint is the receipt. Way too long, think CVS, and difficult to understand if you are making several purchases.
We will continue to go here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

My experience was negative. I went in for an eye exam for glasses.I was told I had macular degeneration and that it could progress quickly or maybe not so quickly, but I needed to act right away to try to slow it down. In addition, I was advised not to consider cataract surgery until the cataracts were unbearable because it could sometimes accelerate the degeneration. After waiting a very tense month for an appointment with an ophthalmologist, I was told the degeneration was so mild I should just forget about it. No restrictions, no anything LensCrafters said I should do daily to attempt to slow the degeneration down. The ophthalmologist said cataract surgery would absolutely NOT accelerate macular degeneration! Lots of anguish because of bad info from LensCrafters. Maybe stick to what you know and refer patients to an expert? The eye exam was probably OK, but I won't be back. It's been a long month waiting for the right info.

I have been going to this place for almost 20 years. Until now. Yesterday I came in for an appointment the grey haired lady ( Karen) I got a lecture because I didn’t fill out their patient form. Let it go. Completed my exam and picked out frames. In order to pay I needed my health saving card. He told me just to call it in and they will get it started. I called today and spoke to a gentleman that should not be dealing with customers. It’s one thing to have bad policies, sometimes they are necessary. But to get a person to answer the phones that seems to gain joy from not be helpful. I actually said FO for the first time in forever. What happened to you!!!
You were my favorite!!!!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
