The closest smiths pharmacy to me didn’t have any of my medication and this was the next closest pharmacy with the medication I needed. I don’t know what’s the big deal. Just put the medication in the bag.

- COChris OhsiekJul 22, 20251.0I went online to refill a med that was available to refill around 9 am Monday 7/21/25. I changed to this location because it’s closer to where I live and I was also planning to go to Black Cherry Middle Eastern Market nearby. I also requested online to get it sooner. I was under the impression that everything was going fine when I checked periodically throughout the day and saw that it was in process. I checked again around 12:30 am Tuesday 7/22/25 and saw that the request did not go through. I spoke to Taylor later around 9:50 am who first told me that it’s getting refilled at the downtown location and to call them. I explained to her that I changed my pickup location when I submitted the first request online. Then she tells me it’s not available to refill until tomorrow 7/23/25 because of my provider. I explained that was not the case when I went online yesterday and today and that it gives me an option to schedule the pickup day for today. I had to speak to her manager who explained that she was going off an old script that ran out of refills and misunderstood. I explained to him that she jumps to conclusions and argues with the customer. I also explained that when I picked up new prescriptions or refills in the past that previous techs also get attitudes. He doesn’t acknowledge or apologize whatsoever. I explained that I worked customer service for a mail order pharmacy and could face disciplinary action for talking back to and contradicting customers. Still no empathy or apology. Very rude service at this location and with Chase at the Sugarhouse location. Will go back to refilling and filling new prescriptions at one of the downtown locations.
