- KCKila CantuFeb 23, 20261.0It's very unlike me to leave reviews, but in this case, I feel it's important to give my feedback. It's disappointing too, because I've recommended Salt Lake Dental to people in the past. In November, I was scheduled for two fillings. I paid a $60 deposit and was assured that everything else was covered by my insurance. Unfortunately, I ended up getting COVID and had to cancel 24 hours in advance. I apologized as their late cancellation policy is within 48 hours, but I obviously did not want to introduce the entire clinic to COVID. I rescheduled for a Monday, thinking I was getting better, but things got worse on Saturday. I called to cancel on Saturday and spoke to a very nice girl who assured me I wouldn't be charged a fee. Again, I did not want to spread COVID to the entire clinic and their patients. Fast forward to now, when I'm ready to reschedule. I was told I would have to pay a new deposit as they had taken my $60 and applied it to late fees. I reluctantly decided to pay the fee again (I know, stupid) and rescheduled. I was then told that my fillings would actually cost me $200 after insurance, though nothing with my insurance has changed. As I do not have $260 just laying around, I cancelled, and will not be going back. There are plenty of highly rated dental clinics in Salt Lake, and I will be finding a new one. So, if you'd like to go to an office that prioritizes patients coming in with COVID over canceling, check out Salt Lake Dental.
