Doctors are amazing but I have never waited so long for an appointment. Over an hour and a half of waiting for multiple appointments. This workflow needs to be improved.

I met with Dr. Joel Dall yesterday at Alpine Orthopedics and had a truly exceptional experience. His support staff (Cindy I believe) were fast, efficient and polite. My need was urgent and they were able to get me in the next day!
Dr Dall could not have been any better. He took the time to listen and then educate me about the issue by walking me through the MRI results, (frame by frame) then gave me very detailed and reasoned options for next steps. He is smart, curious and a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommended business and Doctor.

We did not have a good experience with Dr. Curtis. For our first appointment we sat in the room for over an hour before he was able to see us. He said he would order an MRI. Four weeks later I called and the MRI wasn't ordered yet. A few weeks after that he wanted another appointment. We sat in the waiting room, and after 50 minutes with no updates we decided to leave. We didn't feel my wife's injury was of much importance to them and we will be finding a new doctor. This experience wasted 9 weeks of our time.

Happy experience at Alpine Othopaedic Specialists
I had delayed back surgery because I had friends with a variety of results. Recently a friend had the same surgery I needed with good results, so I made an appointment. Janae was friendly and helped me know what the operation would be like and helped me with my nervousness.
Marc Waters, Physician's Assistant, visited with me and explained my choices of treatment. It was reassuring to me that he thoroughly explained the most conservative options I could consider first.
After several weeks I decided to try the back surgery. Dr. Felix explained to me what to expect in a quiet and friendly appointment.
I was a little nervous about the operation, but it went smoothly at the Outpatient St. Mark's hospital. I met six nurses and operating room technicians who were all kind and helpful. I appreciated the warm blankets one brought me. I was comfortable.
After the surgery, I recovered without any complications, a tech helped me get dressed but I was still a little dizzy. She wheeled me out to the front door and my wife picked me up. We drove to the pharmacy to pick up my pain meds, but there was a glitch with their policies and it took an extra call from Marc to solve the pharmacy's requirements.
I was impressed that Marc called me later that evening to make sure I was doing OK. I was doing great!
I had a good surgeon, helpful and friendly staff, and the surgery went so well that the pain meds are sitting on my table, unused!
I feel fortunate to have met Dr. Felix and the people at Alpine Orthopaedic Specialists. I consider them trusted friends. I don't have a painful back anymore!
