  I cannot praise Dr. Tony Skanchy and his staff enough. Our first experience with South Hills Orthodontics was shortly after my oldest child had broken her arm and had just received her cast. Needless to say she was a little down and the thought of having to get braces the same week didn't make it any more appealing. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with such wonderful reception who greeted my daughter by name. South Hills Orthodontics spared no expense with having such a fun and engaging waiting room for children and youth. My daughter was disappointed with how fast we checked in and were able to get back to see Dr. Skanchy, since she wanted to play some of the video games. South Hills Dental Hygienists and Assistants were so friendly and professional getting to know my daughter and getting her excited and ready for her braces. When Dr. Skanchy came over he quelled any concerns my daughter had also inquired of her cast and asked if he could sign it. My daughter happily said yes and the Hygienists and other staff also came to sign it. It was a wonderful experience all around and we We now live in Provo, but happily drive past dozens of orthodontists to take all of our children to Dr. Skanchy and his amazing staff.

  South Hills is always running on time which I don’t think is that common these days and is so much appreciated. The office is clean, nice, fun waiting room for the kids, and super friendly. My daughter’s teeth look great. Highly recommend!

  If you think going to the orthodontist is all tight wires, awkward smiles, and counting down the days until you can eat popcorn again—think again. This place somehow turns what should be a mildly medieval experience into something bordering on enjoyable. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a team that’s equal parts professional and genuine. Dr. Skanchy explains what’s going on in a way that doesn’t require a dental degree to understand. You leave each appointment knowing exactly what just happened and why your teeth are slowly but surely becoming red-carpet ready. Appointments run on time (a rarity worth celebrating), adjustments are quick and the staff somehow remembers little details about you that make each visit feel personal. We’ve had Braces and Invisalign in our family here and all experiences have been truly amazing. In short: if you have to get braces or any orthodontic work done, this is the place you want. 10/10

  Dr. Skanchy and his team are the best. He is honest, professional, and highly skilled. They have made my son’s braces process smooth and stress-free. We’ve had a great experience and highly recommend his office!

  We love going to Dr. Skanchy, him and his office staff are very kind and professional. I have three kids in braces. Our appointments are super quick and easy! My 5 year old loves coming with us because the waiting area has so much for him to do!
