Super nice clean facility! The instructors are great and I always leave having felt like I had a good workout. And the gals at the front desk are super personable and make an effort to get to know their members. I’m really enjoying having a membership here.

I’m writing this review to share my very disappointing experience with Club Pilates Pleasant Grove’s cancellation policy and the way my situation was handled. I signed up for Pilates, but soon after I became pregnant and developed severe complications that left me bedridden. Continuing classes was truly not an option. When I called to cancel my membership, I explained my medical situation and that I physically could not continue. I was told that I would still be required to pay, and because I was only in my first trimester, I was encouraged to “just wait until the second trimester” and return instead of canceling. I explained multiple times that my complications typically last the entire pregnancy and that I absolutely could not come back. Despite this, I received multiple phone calls pressuring me to pay the fee. While extremely sick and emotionally drained, I eventually paid it just to stop the calls. It felt completely insensitive and dismissive of a medical situation. I am extremely disappointed by how this was handled. No pregnant woman, especially one dealing with complications, should be pressured or harassed into paying a fee for a service they are medically unable to use. This experience was genuinely terrible and left a very negative impression of Club Pilates Pleasant Grove. Update in response to owner’s comment: I want to clarify that I have already given birth, this experience happened over a year ago. I’m sharing my review now because the situation stayed with me, and I would truly hate for another woman dealing with pregnancy complications to be pressured or dismissed the way I was.
