  The amount of frustration I feel with this pharmacy is ridiculous. I only have one prescription that I get filled there because my other pharmacy is not allowed to carry the medication. By the way, if you want an amazing pharmacy, go to Orem family pharmacy. They’re quick and friendly and it’s just a great environment. Now back to Smith’s pharmacy, I’ve picked only two prescriptions there in the past three weeks. The first time my doctor sent it over, I was told I could pick it up on a Tuesday. So I show up on a Tuesday. They tell me I can’t pick it up because it’s down as a refill and it’s not yet ready to refill. I tell them it’s not a refill, I tell them it’s a higher dosage and they say oh yeah I can see that now. And then they tell me to come back later. So I come back later. And then they tell me they can’t fill it because I have to have taken 90% of the previous prescription, even though it’s a lower dose, before I can get this one filled, per federal regulation. Now I would never want them to go against federal regulation. But why didn’t they tell me this the first time I went in? So then this medication isn’t really working for me so my doctor sends over a different medication. And I get a text and I go to the drive up window to pick it up. Here I am 10 minutes later at the drive up window having pressed the call button five times until I realize they’re either really busy or this does not work. So I go into a massively long line of people waiting to pick up medication’s. With one person at the register and five or six people back helping to get prescriptions ready. Finally, another person comes out to check patients out, and luckily it’s my turn. I go up there and I ask her if the drive up window is working. She says it’s not and then laughs. I said well that would be helpful to know since I was sitting there for 10 minutes. Maybe somebody could’ve put up a sign. And then she laughed again and says oh yeah that’s a good idea. I’m pretty sure I could’ve told her that an asteroid was gonna hit the building and she still would’ve laughed. Finally, I get my prescription and left. God knows if I could get this prescription filled somewhere else I would in a heartbeat. Who the hell is running that place anyways?
