I tried three other businesses yesterday without success. Then in the middle of a very busy day (holiday season), Lara at LensCrafters went the second mile to take care of me. Two thumbs way up.

They were so great!! I was so stressed because I ran over my glasses yesterday and they were able to get me a new prescription and fit me in!! Lara is amazing and the staff are so nice! I was visibly stressed and they still treated me with unconditional kindness. Super grateful! And my glasses look amazing

My husband, elderly mother, and I went into LensCrafters late afternoon on Dec. 3, 2025,to buy my husband a pair of glasses. Even though I stood at the counter while my husband started looking around, neither of the two workers said "welcome, we'll be with you as soon as possible." I realized that they were with others (within 6 feet of us), but I've been recognized in busy places before. I waited for 10 minutes, and one of them even helped a new arrival 10 minutes later. We put a couple of pairs at the customer desk and sat down, and they still didn't acknowledge us. A "We'll be with you in 45 minutes" could have sufficed. At least then, we could have left sooner than after more than 30 minutes of wasting our time.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
