I went into this location on 10/27 for an eye appointment and to purchase glasses. Due to an insurance carrier issue (this was not the store’s fault), I was here for over two hours. During the visit, the entire staff was super apologetic and did their absolute best to remedy the situation. Both visits I worked with Frankie and the Assistant Manager Jocelyn. Frankie is an absolute gem, however, the Assistant Manager, Jocelyn, is arguably one of the most incompetent people I have ever met in my life. Due to the insurance mixup, I didn’t have a chance to place my glasses order before returning to work, but I was assured by Jocelyn that the glasses quotes were saved into the computer system for 30 days. A minor inconvenience (or so I thought). I returned today (11/15) to complete my order. Although the staff had recalled working with me, I had the worst experience with Jocelyn. It was a complete 180 from my last visit. Jocelyn couldn’t locate the quotes she created in the system and tried to charge me twice the price of the initial quotes. Jocelyn had no idea what was going on and constantly asked Frankie for help even though she’s the manager on duty and recalled worked on my initial quote. Frankie went above and beyond to attempt to locate the quotes. Upon searching, she found a note in my account from Jocelyn (which Jocelyn kept acting like she had no recollection of) to honor a 50 percent discount. Although it seemed like we were getting somewhere, the math was still about $100 off from the initial quotes. Either Jocelyn screwed up the initial quote and my glasses would have arrived incorrect OR she put on a fraudulent discount to make a sale. The Store Manager should investigate Jocelyn’s transactions. Frankie was extremely apologetic and tried absolutely everything possible to try to recover the quote and honor the price. I didn’t end up buying glasses because I couldn’t justify paying more especially when the Assistant Manager refused to acknowledge her mistake. Unless this issue is resolved, I probably won’t make another purchase here or with this company.

I went in to look at glasses the other day. The employees were nice and was approached by the assistant manager Jocelyn. I thought I recognized her but I couldn't remember where. I remembered she was all over the news filing a lawsuit against Bath and Body works saying she was fired for refusing to use a transgender employees pronouns her religion as the reason why and the law protects her religious freedom. I know about this because I am employeed at a Bath and Body works and this was all people were talking about. As a gay man this really effected me and I am disturbed I am fairly sure Lens crafters supports DEI why would you hire someone so controversial and more people will notice I am sure since she hasn't been quiet She is all over TikTok, YouTube, Google. Even USA Today. I guess Lens crafters protects bigots and I am so disappointed I will never go here again and word spreads fast.

I feel Lenscrafters are Very Dishonest. I was over charged for my glasses. I was told one price in store, as we were writing up the charges, and then as I checked out, Lenscrafters changed the price and added an additional fee. I was never given a reason why, other than they would tell their technicians to be better at their job. I will Never Use Lenscrafters Again.

09/14/2025 at 12:30 in the afternoon, I went in to get my glasses re-made since a couple of weeks ago I had received my new pair, and I was told to bring them back to get them remade since they were not transitioning correctly. The person who greeted us had black short hair and was VERY RUDE since the start! She talked to us in a very rude way and was giving us a bad attitude! all we wanted was to get the glasses re-made like we had agreed with the nice person who helped us a couple weeks ago. this person did NOT want to help us!! I feel ripped off because i paid a-lot of money for my glasses (Meta) and I wont be able to get them fixed before my warranty ends, all because of this rude person.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
