Called in a bit of a bind and needed a few Dailey lenses contacts. Explained my situation and requested an order. The gentleman on the phone went onto explain that I could only get daily lenses with a contact order and I would need to order 90 days worth of contacts. I was traveling through the city didn’t need to order that many and I just asked if I could pay for The dailies or if there was anything else in the shop that I can pay for to get her the lenses so my daughter would be able to see the dance floor in the morning while we were there for a dance competition. He told me that they do not sell the dailies without a full order and that that was their policy. He had zero compassion for the situation we were in and wasn’t willing to Help find a solution. His response was you should just call someone else. Sorry that’s our policy. Well, I did call someone else The eye pros in Ogden, the woman was so helpful and found a solution for my daughter so that she could dance in her competition first thing tomorrow morning. It’s such a disappointment when companies have policies over people there Can always be solutions. As a business owner myself I understand this 100% and work to always find ways to support our customers and help them with solutions. This company can do better.

I recently visited your office for an eye exam. While I was selecting my frames, a customer called in, and I overheard the way the staff spoke to her. The tone used was noticeably sarcastic. After the call ended, staff members laughed and made comments about the customer. Witnessing this interaction was concerning and unprofessional. A few days later, when I called with a question, I had the impression that a similar tone was being used with me. I have been a patient at this location for several years, but this experience led me to seek services elsewhere. Customer service is extremely important in this industry, and unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
