- LRLorraine RyanDec 10, 20252.0Wow. Just be ready to watch your own back financially. The doctors told us from their physical exam they believed my daughter's issue was allergies and so we scheduled an allergy test. The control test failed, but the nurse said we should go ahead with the rest of the test. Results were, not surprisingly, inconclusive, the failed control test being referenced as "we can't really trust the results". We knew we were paying out of pocket for the test, but as the office recommended we go ahead with it, we did. Waste of the nearly $1000 test. They recommended we do a blood test. We were asked who our insurance was and sent to a lab they told us was in network. We found out 3 months later when we received a $4000 bill that was out of network. I get ultimately we need to check our own network, but having been specifically asked, I trusted the office. In the end, we wasted $5000 because of the advice we received from this office. While I don't argue the actual care provided by the office, the financial side lead us into problems twice and left us with an enormous bill, both times at the guidance of the office.
