This place has been absolutely amazing. Of course it is not perfect, but the staff here is incredible and will do anything and everything they can to help you. Entering a treatment center is so hard and yet this place became a second home. They help with exposing you to multiple different ways of healing and activities you can enjoy to assist with your journey that I continue to incorporate in my life. I am forever grateful for coming here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to work on their mental health in a more well rounded way with real people and staff.

Please do not send your loved one to Maple Mountain! My wife went for addiction and depression treatment based on reviews we read online. 5 of the 7 other women left within a week of her arrival, all earlier than their minimum expected 28 days. My wife left after 20 days. There is a lack of leadership, with various staff members seeming to always point fingers at someone else. Staff members were undertrained, often administering basic medical procedures ineffectively. Staff was more consumed with their own phones and personal interests than helping the patients, many of whom were there fighting for their lives.
My wife’s stay was filled with blunders and mishaps by staff, including the mishandling of funds and the cancellation of classes by teachers due to such reasons as “I forgot my keys to unlock the room”. The facilities were badly in need of upkeep, with much of the advertised facilities not available or “under repair”. The owner, Mr. Harper, is unwilling to respond to concerns or issues regarding his facility.
On top of the pour treatment being offered, Mr. Harper has failed to refund money due to us that was required upfront. He has ignored my requests for a statement of my wife’s account showing charges. This is on top of the insurance filing blunders. According to my insurance company, Maple Mountain failed to provide proper proof of license in a timely manner and despite Maple Mountain charging us for full hospitalization services, they only filed a claim for partial hospitalization.
The Utah Department of Health and Human Services has been contacted, and Maple Mountain is currently being investigated. Please do not put your loved ones in Maple Mountain Recovery’s care.

Maple Mountain Recovery in Utah completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, their team created a highly personalized treatment plan tailored just for me—every session felt tailored to my needs.
What really sets them apart is the way they seamlessly blend healing with genuine care and enjoyable experiences. Between therapy sessions, I had options like yoga, cold plunges in nature, art therapy, acupuncture, and many therapeutic adventures. It felt like real recovery, not just treatment.
The staff is amazingly attentive—every single team member knew my name, remembered my goals, and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. They made sure I felt supported 100% of the time and built an environment that was both professional and warm.
If you’re looking for a recovery center that cares deeply, customizes your journey, and injects a dose of fun and relaxation into the process—Maple Mountain Recovery is it. Highly recommend!

Leaving Maple Mountain is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do — because it truly feels like home now.
When I first came here, I was unsure and scared, but looking back, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The support, the community, the staff, the environment — every part of it has helped me grow in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve laughed, cried, healed, and connected more deeply than I thought was possible. This place held me while I found pieces of myself again.
I’m leaving with a full heart and endless gratitude. Thank you, Maple, for being a place I’ll carry with me forever. 🧡
