- LELandon EvansMar 16, 20261.0I would give it zero stars if I could. My wife went in there to buy contacts with her insurance. We got a new insurance that would cover the entire cost of the contacts but the manager kept telling her that it only partially covered. We literally pulled up the benefits showing full coverage and they kept telling her that it’s only partially covered. They just keep talking and taking advantage until you pay money. The manager just gaslit her until she paid. They hate insurance and will do anything they can to make some money. Then after my wife paid they said they couldn’t do a refund until they got the boxes back. I worked at an optical store as an optician for a year and I know that they don’t have to wait for the boxes. We would do refunds all the time if people wanted to cancel their order. It’s just terrible customer service and a selfish attitude in order to make sure they’re getting people to pay outside of insurance. They did the same thing when my wife got her exam there. Made her pay even though our insurance covered it. And when we asked questions to try and get more insight as to why we were paying or what was going on, they would just brush us off and tell us that’s just how it is and would give us no explanation. They just lie and gaslight to get what they want which is for you to pay some out of pocket money even when it’s fully covered by insurance. They just lost our business and I would go anywhere else to get you eyes checked or to order contacts or glasses if I were you. Unless you like being lied to!
