There’s something so relieving knowing that I have support on the days when I physically cannot be in the community that my mom lives in. Not having to move has been the number one goal for my mom as she is 99 years old and change would be detrimental to her at this point. Being able to have the caregivers help my mom stay independent has made all the difference and I see it every time I visit. I want to give the credit where it is most earned- Kylea, thank you for loving my mom as much as I do. Claudia and Nancy- thank you for your care and kindness. I wanted to give him the best care possible but as he became restless and began climbing over the bed rail, needing to be lifted from chair to his bed etc. I was overwhelmed and beyond tired. When they came with serious help. The women were knowledgable, proactive, I could totally trust them to care for my dad while I rested or did other things. They also organized medical items and offered to help clean anything I needed. They truly became friends. I’d had experience with one other agency who were very nice but the helpers were very young and sat on their cell phones waiting to be told what to do or for my dad to ask for help. I felt that I couldn’t leave them alone with my dad. I felt almost as if I was teaching them. I didn’t have them come back as it didn’t feel like help. Home Instead helped me in the last week of my dads life when he really went down hill fast, I don’t know what I would have done without them. I’ve spoken about what they did for me, but the best part is they were so loving and kind towards my dad. I wish I had found them sooner, but am so thankful for them. I have thought since that If I ever become terminally ill, I hope I can get their care.

Claudia goes above and beyond with my mom and in taking care of her home. in addition to making sure my mom is healthy and happy, she decorates for the season and brings so much cheer to the house. Cassandra also does a great job making sure my mom is healthy and happy and engages in great conversation with her. Sammi and Achol also do a wonderful job with my mom and ensure for her daily well-being snd safety. My mom and I have had a great experience with Home Instead and highly recommend them!
