  My jaw used to click every time I opened my mouth, would get stuck and be incredibly sore. Prior dentists and orthodontists I had simply weren’t trained how to treat this. This treatment works. My jaw no longer clicks or gets stuck, it has given me so much relief. You have to be consistent in wearing the mouth piece when you sleep, but it’s custom molded and a different design than what other dentists give you - much more comfortable.

  I had a really good experience here, from the front desk to the doctor himself. Everything was clean, friendly and efficient. I was less than pleased to discover that health insurance essentially covers nothing. (So, we, those suffering, are left to fend for ourselves (pay thousands of dollars, in addition to our health ins premiums.) That being said and with the staff and patients all annoyed with this, they offer discounts, payment plans and as many options as possible to serve the client. It's hardly their fault that our scammy insurance b.s. gets to opt out of everything. This doctor knew exactly what was going on with my right jaw joint, showed me videos and thoroughly explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I also had papers to show my husband, along with the info so it would also be easy at home. I really like and trust the Dr. and I look forward to the relief I expect I will soon get and feel. I have been suffering and struggling with what to eat, if I should just skip it to avoid pain and so on. It has now begin to interfere with my normal life, so this place, and the people are my life preserver and I am grateful. It really hurts and it felt really validating for the doc to immediately know and relate to me, that he understood how much this pain sucks. Empathy and compassion are important, and they provide that. I highly recommend you try this place and see what you can figure out, to stop your jaw pain too!

  If I could leave a negative star I would. First off I never leave reviews on anything. But I feel like this will hopefully reach the right person and save someone the future headache and cost of this place. DO NOT go to this doctor. You would be better off putting your thousands of dollars in a fire pit and lighting it on fire. I’m fully convinced no one walks out of here with their jaw problems fixed. Only made worse. In August of 2025 we were unfortunately referred here by our dentist. I’ve now spoken with him about how awful our experience has been. Hopefully he will no longer be referring anyone here. During my daughter’s consultation we were made to feel that in just 12-14 weeks her jaw would be back to normal and all would be well. I can assure you nothing is well. Her jaw pain is no better and to top it off her bite is now completely crooked. I’ve already paid over $6,000 for braces for her. After seeing her orthodontist yesterday there is an extremely high possibility she is going to have to have braces put back on to correct what this doctor has done. So after paying this “TMJ” specialist to fix her jaw he has actually cost us more money in the long run. And from my understanding this isn’t the first time he has run into this issue. These mouth guards he provides do absolutely nothing. Yet every appointment you go to he reassures you that things are improving and only a few more tweaks and you’ll be good. That is far from the truth. When you have trust in a doctor you are hoping they are telling the truth and are helping you. I now trust this man as far as I can throw him. It’s insane you pay around $3200 for this appliance and after 12-14 weeks you’ve reached your allotted appointments covered in this cost. So each additional appointment is over $200 more out of your pocket. Odd insurance hardly ever covers this. The whole process is just concerning to me. I felt that during the consultation appointment and should have went with my gut. So…I am aware I did sign the contract and I did agree to the terms. But looking back I should have went home and thought about it first before I dove in head first. Oddly I felt some sort of pressure to pay and sign right then. So I unfortunately put my trust in that. The office staff of course is friendly and welcoming. But the doctor does not explain things well. And honestly comes off beyond arrogant. It’s interesting all these 5 star reviews. They have been doing monthly give aways in their office if you leave a review “you could win this whole box of goodies”. I’m now beginning to think that’s how they are earning such high ratings on here. Because after my husband spoke to the billing lady today. She said I deal with these phone calls all day. So clearly we are not the only ones being scammed out of money. Anyways do not go to this doctor. Talk to your orthodontist first if you or your child has already been in braces. See if the orthodontist can help you, most orthodontist should with little to no cost. Because if I could go back I never would have committed to this place. Not to mention all the gas money and hours spent driving over an hour to even be seen by this guy. Also lastly they will claim all patients records show improvement and “ happy with their care”. Well I can tell you they came to that conclusion on their own without even asking. Just because the assistant asks a million questions to then have the doctor come in and basically disregard you and “make his tiny tweeks” doesn’t mean you are satisfied with anything.

  I’ve had TMJ issues (popping, catching, and pain) since 2021 and couldn’t figure out what to do about it. I saw a chiropractor for a year and while he was able to help with other issues, nothing changed with my jaw. I’ve been a patient at TMJ Therapy for about 6 months and while progress has been a little slow, it’s been steady! I can open my mouth wider than I have in years and I have very little pain. Things just keep getting better. So grateful I started coming here!
