  Couldn't do what i needed done. Which according to the hospital in Denver shouldn't have been hard to go under general anesthesia. The emergency room wouldn't/couldn't do it. They referred me to a doctor shawhan. Who I left two voicemails for and never got a call back. Casper options: die at banner or die here. Mine as well go to another state

  The surgery seems to be success however the rest of the experience was not good. After my mother came out of surgery they dropped a tool on her face and her lip was a little swollen. The nurse and the anesthesiologist were not communicating and we were told there was a potential "leak" during the spinal so she needed to lay flat for an hour, which turned out just to be a misunderstanding. 5 hours after she was out of surgery her pain was approaching 9, she had yet to have any pain meds. We were told "someone" forgot to order them so that's why there was a delay. After making a lap with the physical therapist she was able to disconnect from the IV bag and get dressed. A different nurse came in to start the discharge process and had brought paper work for someone else. We went over the correct paperwork for the discharge process and got mom out to the car. Once we got her home and comfortable we realized she STILL HAD HER IV IN! From on call we were told our options were to drive the hour back to Casper tomorrow and get it removed or just do it ourselves. We also found all the blood work and personal information for the discharge paperwork mix up in our folder. Don't worry Cynthia, we shredded it. I just hope the end result of the surgery is in no way tied to our experience so far.

  Recommend the ER. Nobody listened to me about my pain and they help me figure it all out. They're awesome and very kind

  I brought my family member up here for a surgery with Dr. DiPompeo. Everything went very smooth and professional from start to finish. The staff here is exemplary. Emily is an incredible nurse! The facility is immaculate including the restrooms.
