- TTTJ Adkins (Testdummydouble)4 days ago1.0I have suffered with tinnitus most of my adult life because of my service in the marine corps. I was on deployment to the middle east and spent prob 10 hours on a kC-130. After that flight of listening to the constant, screeching, screaming sound of the hydraulic system i noticed a constant ringing in my ears (and that wasnt my only flight. At the time, being young i assumed it would be temporary (unfortunately it wasnt) and did not dare complain about it because the Marine Corps frowns on complaining to say the least. I decided to finally accept the military has caused me to deal with this and file a claim. This erin wells (i will NOT call her a doctor) was who i was sent to for a C&P exam. Apparently she felt it wasn't military related even tho that is my only noise exposure in my life was during service. If you're a vet and this is your C&P doctor I would highly suggest you request someone else. She is for the paycheck.
