Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Employees were friendly and helpful. The wait time a bit long, but the pharmacy was very busy at the time.

I have been coming here for 5 years and I really do know why. THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Always takes forever and they make you feel as though your being done a favor. I have been sitting in front of the pharmacy now waiting 45 minutes the prescription was called in 4 hours ago. They had not checked the incoming prescriptions and found it when I asked if it was ready. One would think it would be a priority to get it done right away. NOPE, they get a kick out of being over officious and inconveniencing people it's the only explanation. All I can say is WOW read the reviews people they are an accurate depiction. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere as I will be doing I said it before even gone as far as telling the.pharmacist but my wife always Convinces me to stay. Not this time.

Having read all of the other reviews after having my prescription here, I was a little bit nervous I had made a big mistake. However, my experience was very pleasant. I pulled up via the drive--through and the pharmacist was on the phone with another customer. I waited about 2 minutes for the call to finish and she came over to greet me, apologized that she was on the phone with another customer and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole process took another couple minutes to verify my identity, explain the medication I was picking up (new to me) and process my payment.

So I called to get my prescription refilled today and asked a simple question and deandra was extremely rude.. Telling me my script would not be auto refilled because it's not a maintenance drugs... Even though it very much is a maintenance drug . There's absolutely no other reason why someone would be on this other than it being a maintenance drug. She has a bad attitude and acts like she's above everyone. I Hate dealing with her and I see others have had the same issue.. Also last week when I was there they open at 9.so I got there and waited in line until 915 and then saw the pharmacist finally arrived and instead of greeting me the customer she went I side while bringing out a cart of meds then proceeded to grab some cleaning supplies and started cleaning around me as I was standing in line. Then as she's spraying the counter asked me if my meds were ready and continued to to clean. I sat there for ten minutes so I was finally helped at 9:25.this is absurd business practices. I think management needs to have some conversation with some staff about how to talk and treat your Customers. I will be screen shooting all these reviews and sending them to Kroger corporate before they lose even more customers. This will be my last prescription filled here..
