My 5 year old daughter needed a cavity filled. The dentist was GREAT with her, and the support staff was so helpful and great also.

I just wanted to write a review about my experience today. I’m not one to usually write reviews but here it is. My 7 year old had an apt to get a baby tooth pulled and two fillings. The dentist was late getting to us because another procedure ahead of us was taking a bit longer. No big deal to us. He finally came in, gave my son nitrase and began to numb his mouth. The numbing was super painful for him, which I know it is. Now, I’m no expert but when I’ve had teeth pulled, they give me a little bit for the numbing to take hold. He went straight to work on my son’s mouth and he’s still crying. He even told him to stop screaming and that there are other people here. This broke my heart and I wanted to say something like, “where are your patients bedside manners?” He didn’t apologize like, “I’m sorry buddy, hold on we almost got it” nothing…. Absolute silence expect for telling him to keep his mouth open. Had I said anything, I didn’t want to escalate or rise a situation and get my son more worked up. So after leaving, I called my husband and told him what happened and he had called them to cancel all future appointment with them because of what happened today. They never asked why, or what can we do to make it better - absolutely nothing. We’ve been going here for a few years now and I won’t take my kids there ever again. I will mention, he’s had a filling before and it was nothing like this. I think he was behind and rushed my son through before he was fully numb. I would have handled this situation entirely different and so much better. There was no comforting my son from the dentist expect me holding hands and comforting him. Just makes me sad he had to go through this because he was so happy to get that tooth out and now it’s ruined how he’ll see any dentist in the future. I want to add he’s had fillings before and was so excited about getting this tooth pulled and he’s now afraid of going to any dentist because of this experience which makes me sad because he’s a tough little boy but was not comforted, consoled in any manner except for by his mama. I hate leaving bad reviews and never do, but this was just so wrong.

Although insurance card information was given several days prior to the appointment it was not until after x-rays they informed me I was out of network. I was then quoted a price of $400 and something and was charged over $700.

Absolutely 5 star!! With the front desk to Dr.Frisch and the hygienist, I was very impressed and definitely recommend.
