Max is very determined to help. I am a very weird case and he wasn't able to help me, but it wasn't for lack of trying. Highly recommend this guy for pain relief.

I've been to DOZENS of healthcare providers in the 13 years I've had chronic nerve pain from centralized pain syndrome, and Dr. Max is the only one who has truly understood what was happening with my condition and how it can be improved. Because my nervous system is especially hypersensitive, we haven't gotten to zero pain yet, but we've made a lot of progress and I'm excited to come back in a few months and keep working towards that goal. If you have a weird nerve-pain related condition, I absolutely recommend going to Dr. Max!

I am overjoyed after doing scrambler therapy with Max Wellness in Oshkosh Wi. I had life long back problems and in 2022 my back went out and basically I never recovered. August 2024 I had a spinal fusion with a cage and disc replacement at l5 s1 and I did get some relief. I was able to start walking again, actually up to 5 miles a day but I had a freezing cold leg. September 24 I got a sympathetic nerve block. I couldn't walk a 1/8 mile instantly throughoutthe day. I started with pins and needles like I never experienced in my life. My left foot was turned out to a 45 degree angle and at times it would exceed 90 degrees. December 24 I got my l4 fused and made so improvement and more issues. Over the years before and after I did a lot of PT with no improvement. I was failing medications ass fast as I would try them with most landing me in the ER to the point most pain management Dr's wouldn't even try to prescribe anymore. Gabapenton, lyrica, and a dozen more were horrible for me. I tried different PM at different facilities with no success. I tried different PT with no success. Over a dozen 2nd opinions. On the table from Dr's was a spinal stimulator, pain pump, burn out freeze nerves. I could not bring myself to even wanting to try these, I was 1,000 percent against adding more crap, in my opinion, too my body. July 25 I started with severe muscle spasms in my left leg. I spent the last 4 years with the best pain as a 5 and average of 7 with every single night at 10. I based my pain level more on daytime hours for my average, right or wrong, but I found this a psychological thing for me. The last 4 months I was sick and even throwing up in pain every single night. Over time I was diagnosed with failed back surgery, crps, major depressing (I also had allergies to antidepressants) and permanent nerve damage. My depression was very dark to say the least, I prayed hard every day for God to take me. Something I could not do on my own but wished so hard I would be in the wrong spot at the wrong time. My anger got so bad and came on like a flash, I felt like I could stand in the middle of a highway and destroy a semi and walk away. It was so scary for me and my family. I told a dr a few months ago that I don't think I'm going to see my next birthday. I started thinking about Ketamine infusions as a dr told me with all my prescriptions causing horrible reactions that they think it would work for me. I considered it because it was not a permanent implant type of thing that I'm against. But the consult I had turned me off so bad. That dr said I should try a LDN but it's very slow working and would take months before I would notice relief. He also added that I cannot afford the process without even knowing anything about my financial. So I started this and 2 weeks later he prescribed me a opioid. I did the syc test and blood work, paid a $180 for 6 pills. Guess what folks, these 2 should be never be combined for anyone, even after the ER be stupid his ground that it works together. I took 1 pill and in less then 30 minutes I was wigging out and waking up in the ER. I found out about scrambler therapy mostly from crps patients. And luckily Max Wellness was the most recommended place to go, just happens to be 50 miles from my home. Pele address traveling from all over the US and Canada that I talked with. I did 10 total sessions. Day 2 I stopped using my walking stick. Day 3 my wife saw life in my face and a sparkle in my eye. I am at zero pain at the 9th visit and the 10th knocked it out of the park for me. I am overwhelmed in joy. I do not have suicidal thoughts. My left foot is straight. I'm learning to walk again. I start PT next week to help regain everything I lost

Simple put Life Changing. The transition Max put my husband through in 2 weeks was amazing. Life for him the last 3 years was non existent. Pain everyday from the moment he got up until the next morning. One would think that it would go away when he would fall a sleep, that is if he could fall a sleep. But all through the night a simple move would have him moaning or screaming in pain. As one not willing to give up he continued pushing forward. Trying new Drs with new ideas.. Different meds with different side effects. Some that got brushed off as being caused by something else, others as er visits. My husband was told by several medical professionals that there is nothing more that we can do for you. You have crps, failed back surgery, permanent nerve damage. But your imaging looks good. So you will just have to adapt and learn to live with the pain. For him continuing to live with the pain was not an option. Somewhere there had to be answer. For me watching him deteriorate the last 3 years have been heartbreaking. Watching him go from a confident, hard working man, to someone that had to rely others for basic daily needs was detrimental. Our plans for the future were no longer an option. Simple things like spending time with family and special events were cut short or passed on all together. His levels a pain were very unpredictable and he was often times sitting on the sidelines vs joining in like he always had. This only further isolated him. As strong as he is the pain was beginning to get the best of him. He was becoming a fall hazard. His mental capacity was declining. Trouble thinking through everyday tasks. He could no longer drive. His personality was changing, taking him to dark places. Simple things would make him angry and upset. All things at the age of 50 he shouldn't have to worry about. A statement he made at yet another disappointing Dr visit in Nov scared myself and the rest of the family. He told the Dr "if things don't change I don't think I will see my next birthday." In 2 weeks Max changed everything. The first visit my husband required a walking stick to get into the appointment, needing it to keep his balance. He walked slowly, having to be very intentional about each step, not knowing how his foot would react to the pavement underneath. The 2nd visit he was able to ditch the stick, but still walking slowly and intentionally. The 3rd visit I saw a light in his eyes that I can't remember when I seen last. He was getting life back in him. He smiled more. As each visit passed he was able to do more. Walking up and down a flight of stairs, on uneven grass, at a pace that I had a hard time keeping up with. Visiting with family for hours vs a few minutes.watching a kids baseball game. Driving. All things that he has not been able to do for the past 6 months, if not 3 years. Because of this I can make this statement. Max was the answer and my husband will see his next birthday. Max was compassionate, knowledgeable and open. He didn't give us false hope. And unlike other providers that we have come across he made it affordable to take that leap of faith with him. A generous payment plan as well as the money back guarantee.
