⭐ 1-Star Review Extremely disappointed with my experience at Kenosha Radiology. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and have been left waiting well beyond my appointment time with absolutely no acknowledgment or communication from staff about the delay. I’ve repeatedly been told, “It’ll be about 10 more minutes,” yet I’m still sitting here waiting. If there is an unexpected delay, the very least staff can do is communicate that to patients instead of continuously giving inaccurate wait times. Scheduling an appointment should mean something. People have jobs, families, responsibilities, and other obligations. There seems to be absolutely no respect or value for patients’ time here. The lack of communication and consideration has made an already frustrating wait even worse. I will not be returning to Kenosha Radiology, nor would I recommend them to anyone based on this experience.

I recently had an MRI completed here. The staff was great and crystal walked me through the entire process and helped me handle any anxiety I may have had.

The MRI took an hour and a half, it was a open MRI but I still didn't enjoy it 😕. But who does ?

I called with questions on scheduling an MRI because my insurance told me this was a more affordable option. Well...you do get what you pay for. Vanessa answered the call and was sooo very rude. That one call made up my mind. I would rather spend a 1000 more to not have to set one foot in this place!

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenosha Radiology Center

What if I am claustrophobic?

Many patients who experience claustrophobia are still able to undergo examinations in our 3T MRI. If anxiety occurs at the beginning of the procedure, we can administer a mild sedative, such as valium. Patients requiring sedation should arrange for transportation. For those with severe claustrophobia, our open MRI is available as an alternative option.

What is the difference between the 3T and open MRI?

The 3T MRI provides superior image quality, utilizing the most powerful magnet available for patient care. Its enhanced anatomical detail allows radiologists to detect abnormalities that may be missed by less powerful magnets. While the 3T is a closed magnet, its wider and shorter bore design is more accommodating for claustrophobic patients. The open MRI, on the other hand, offers visibility into the room during the exam, making it suitable for most claustrophobic patients without medication. Although the open MRI produces excellent images, they are not comparable to those of the 3T, and the scan duration is typically twice as long.
