    You would think the YMCA would be about enabling the community to get in shape, but not this one. I was visiting the area and had a Silver Sneakers card which I showed the front desk attendant, Lori. "We don't take that anymore." Me: That's ok, I have cash and a credit card. Can I purchase a day pass to use the weigh room? Lori: We don't sell day passes. Me: You don't sell day passes? Lori: No. Me: Not ever? Lori: You have to be with a member. Me: Well, my sister in law is a member. Can you look up her name and let me in. Lori: No. She has to be here. Me: Well, she's back in Winchester right now entertaining her sister, brother in law, and my wife. Lori: You'll have to go get her then. Me: But that's a 20 minute drive each way and it would be rude for her to walk out. Lori: She can drive here. Me: She can't do that with guests. Can I call her and let you talk to her to confirm she's a member? Lori: No. Me: Well, can you recommend any other gym nearby where I could go and get a workout? Lori: I don't know anything about that. Me: This is very disappointing. I was all psyched up to get a workout, drove all this way only to find I can't even enter the Y. Lori: Sorry. (Gets ups and walks away)
