- DDDrewJun 15, 20261.0I have purchased 3 seperate pairs of Oakley prescription glasses from this LenzCrafters. Every time there has been some sort of hiccup on their communication in coverage, price or insurance etc. When I purchased my first 2 pairs I was informed by the LenzCrafters team at Bay Park Sqaure that the insurance covered broken, lost, scratched etc. I ended up losing my first pair during travel and when I contacted them for the insurance coverage I was told the person who sold me the glasses was incorrect on what was covered so I would need to pay out of pocket for my new pair. I ended up buying another 2 pair because I needed the glasses. Not even a year later I was cleaning the lenses and one of my pairs snapped in half. I brought them in and it wasn't a free replacement. I still had to pay $50 out of pocket to get my new pair of glasses. Fast forward another 6 months and with working construction one of my pairs got smashed when I set them down. I brought them in and lenzcrafters told me that I am just over the 1 year mark so there is no longer insurance coverage. Not once did their team tell me the insurance is only good for 1 year. So now I am out the money I paid to have insurance and out of a the money I spent on the glasses. This place is a scam and a waste of money. Will not reccomend. I will be dealing with local and family owned from now on.
