MRI scans typically take between 15 to 30 minutes. With the GE 1.5 Tesla wide bore scanner, we can reduce the time you spend in the machine, making for a more comfortable experience.

The MRI scanner creates a strong magnetic field. You won’t feel anything, but you may hear a rhythmic knocking. We provide headphones with music of your choice to help block out any noise and make your time on the table enjoyable. Additionally, you should wear loose and comfortable clothing for your scan. Metal objects, including jewelry, glasses and other accessories, must be removed prior to your scan as they can interfere with the magnetic field.
