I love that after a 6-year break from Pure Barre, I was able to jump right back in and feel at home. We moved to the UP where there wasn’t a Pure Barre studio, and during that time we started our family. Now that we’re back in Wisconsin and done having babies, Pure Barre has become my space to relax, break a sweat, step away from toddler town for a little while, and reconnect with myself.
One of my favorite things is the variety. With 5 different class formats, there’s always something new to challenge you. Even if your schedule only allows you to attend one time slot, the class formats rotate, so you’re not stuck taking the same class over and over. It keeps things fresh, fun, and helps you build strength in different ways.
What really makes Pure Barre special, though, is the community. The environment is full of positivity and wonderful people who are there to encourage you, push you, and support you—not judge you. You’ll see people of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels in class, and everyone belongs. Whether it’s your first class or your 1,000th, you feel welcomed and supported.
I know the cost can seem intimidating at first. The unlimited membership is $159/month, which sounds like a lot until you break it down. If you go 4 times a week, that’s roughly $10 per class, and the more often you go, the lower that cost gets. They also offer other membership options, but if you’re able to commit to a 45-minute workout 4+ times a week, I truly think it’s worth it—whether you’re working toward a goal or simply maintaining your health and fitness.
The investment has truly paid off. Coming back after time away, I realized how much I had missed it—it genuinely made an impact on me more than I expected. It’s also been such a gift to walk into a class and not have to stress or plan a workout on my own. You’re simply told what to do, you show up, and you can fully focus on moving your body and clearing your mind.
In just a month, I’ve lost weight, gained muscle tone and definition, and started feeling stronger. After having babies, it’s been one of the best things I’ve done for both my physical and mental health.
For me, Pure Barre is more than a workout—it’s an hour that’s just for me, and that’s been invaluable in this season of life.

Pure Barre Appleton has truly become so much more than just a workout for me.
The instructors are incredible — motivating, supportive, and genuinely invested in every person who walks through the door. The environment is welcoming, empowering, and filled with such positive energy that it instantly feels like a safe space to show up as you are.
Beyond the workouts, it’s the friendships and sense of community that make it so special. The encouragement, the laughs, the shared goals — it all adds up to something that positively impacts my life far outside the studio. I leave every class feeling stronger, more confident, and so grateful to be part of such an amazing community.❤️
