I went through all of the prep to schedule the appointment submit my insurance information and was shown very precise numbers that aligned with my Davis Vision insurance prior to my appointment. What happened once I got to my appointment was completely different. The numbers were way less. The staff were borderline rude and unhelpful. I called my insurance company. My insurance company clarified that I was correct about my coverage and was told that I would get the coverage that my insurance insisted they covered. Then I went into the optometrist. She was great, and that was a very positive experience, but after coming out the front of store, people reneged on agreeing to the coverage. I wouldn’t have even gone there for an eye exam if I would’ve known they were using bait and switch tactics to get people in the door and then increase the price once you’re there. I would avoid a Warby Parker from now on.
