  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with StretchLab has been extremely frustrating. I signed up for an introductory session a few weeks ago, but the studio canceled on me twice, forcing me to repeatedly rearrange my schedule. After each cancellation, I spent days trying to reschedule. I called almost daily and rarely, if ever, got an answer from this location. I even called other StretchLab locations, and while they picked up the phone and tried to help, they were unable to book me into a different studio. Despite the cancellations being on their end, I was told I could not receive a refund and instead had to continue trying to reschedule. Today was supposed to be my third attempt at attending my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed for my 9:00 AM session and waited outside for over 25 minutes. The doors were locked, nobody was inside, and no one contacted me to explain what was going on. At this point, I’ve spent more time calling, rescheduling, and waiting for appointments than actually receiving any service. The lack of communication, reliability, and basic customer service has been incredibly disappointing. I simply want a refund so I can move on. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

  Quality stretch time with Tessa. She’s really empathetic, skilled and patient. Helped me get through some pretty tight lower body muscles. Esp quads, flutes and calves. I’m unsure about the membership as the pricing is high and the reviews aren’t looking great, but Tessa was amazing (5stars to her)

  I would strongly caution anyone considering StretchLab South Lake Union to read this before purchasing a package. I purchased a package in good faith, hoping assisted stretching would improve stiffness in my leg. Instead, after one session from that package, I left the studio walking significantly worse and remained that way for several days. The decline in mobility was immediate and disrupted my normal daily functioning. I reported the issue to the studio on October 1, 2025. I have since heard back from the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, who advised that the general manager has not responded to their inquiry. Based on that, I am now considering next steps. There was no call back, no follow up, and no attempt to address what happened. The only response I eventually received came weeks later from Arjen Sundher, General Manager at StretchLab South Lake Union. By that point, the lack of timely communication had already made resolution more difficult. The matter remains unresolved. A separate and serious concern is that this studio does not provide customers with a written refund policy. Customers are encouraged to purchase packages costing hundreds of dollars, yet there is no written guidance outlining refunds or consumer protections if something goes wrong. Because the studio failed to address the situation, I escalated the matter. I have: • Contacted StretchLab corporate offices • Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau • Submitted a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division Despite these steps, the issue remains unresolved due to the general manager’s failure to meaningfully address the situation. I am now out hundreds of dollars for services that resulted in harm and were not responsibly handled. When a business provides services that affect physical well being, clear communication, transparency, and accountability are not optional. They are basic standards. That was not my experience at this location. Anyone considering this studio should ask direct questions about staff training, safety protocols, and refund policies before purchasing any package. No written refund policy, no accountability, and no follow up after a reported injury should be considered a serious red flag.
