This is the worse store for customer service. The checkers are rude and not at all helpful. They just throw your groceries in the bags with no consideration for things like eggs or bread. They fill bags with all heavy things in one bag even if you have more bags available. Then they expect you will lift your bags up and over counter with machine on it. If there is an error on the price of an item they make you go to service desk to fix it and today when there was no one at the counter after 5 minutes I asked checker at the check out your own groceries area and she acted like you were bothering her. I am ready to stop going to this location all together. The pharmacy is the only reason I am still going there now. I have used many other Safeway stores and this is without a doubt the worst one I have ever seen.

Honestly they're doing the best they can with the resources they have, and you can't blame the pharmacy for the fact that there is a high demand for medication.
You can blame the pharmacy for billing you for a refill that they were out of stock of, thus preventing you from filling it at another Pharmacy without having to wait for them to cancel the refill on their end.
Maybe this is standard procedure that I don't understand but first time for me and kind of annoying so yeah annoying.

I would give a ZERO rating of possible.
This is by far one of the worst pharmacies I've ever had the displeasure to go to.
Horrible customer service, no idea what they're doing behind the counter, rude, and unprofessional.
My son is very sick and needs his medication. We called at 115p and were told they have it and it should be ready in about 10 min. We went in 10 mins later and were told by a different employee that they do not have the prescription and to call the doctor to verify (she was demeaning and rude but we did as she asked because we have no choice. )
The doctor confirmed that they sent the prescription AND that Safeway verified it at 1205p TODAY. We went back in and the same rude, angry woman tried to argue her point. We explained what the doctor said, then another employee (recognizing her voice as the one who took our earlier call), said, "no we did get that and it's ready to be filled", from behind the pharmacist counter before her and the other pharmacists walked out. The very rude counter worker then said, "you'll have to wait, we're going on lunch", and then closed the pharmacy rolling doors in our face.
Luckily my son has the flu and we can transfer his prescription but for someone who might need life saving medication, DO NOT USE THIS UNCARING AND ILL INTENTIONED PHARMACY.
