Please allow backpacks again. Cancelling all prescriptions until you do. First they got rid of the baskets, now they don't even allow you to have a backpack. Given this place tens of thousands of dollars over the years, now to be essentially denied entry because I walk here and carry groceries home in a backpack... in the most walkable neighborhood in the city. Crazy decision. Immediately moving all prescriptions away and will stop most of my shopping here until they change this backwards policy.

I can never, ever get them to answer the phone to check on a prescription! I’ve been calling all day today and yesterday. Going to have to just pack up my kids and go up there for a prescription that’s probably not even ready! All the other replies from months back stating the same issue claim the feedback is being “noted” whatever that means! Because they STILL do not answer the phone months after knowing this is an issue. There’s tons of elderly who rely on public transport and shouldn’t have to come up to the pharmacy just to check the status of their prescription!

I don’t know what it is with every Safeway pharmacy I try to contact, it’s like they are allergic to the phone and just refuse to pick up. I’ve been calling and leaving messages all day to no response. How is this level of service acceptable? Please, just pick up your phones!
