Have had some small issues with them before but after today no more.
I get my prescriptions through this pharmacy. I was out of town when I needed one to be refilled and was unable to return in time, so I went to the local pharmacy where I was at to do so. They got the prescription transferred to them and I had my meds the next day. Time for another refill so I went back to Safeway. No line at drop off, short one at pick up window which had 2 workers. I stood there for 15 minutes until one of the workers finally came over.
Explained situation. Was first told I had no meds to refill and had to call my Doctor. I said that isn't true. Ended up she was looking at the wrong one. When she found the right one, she then told me I had to contact that pharmacy to have the prescription transferred back to Safeway. I asked why I had to do this since the other pharmacy didn't require me to contact you to have it transfer to them and got the famous Gen Z Stare then the same response. I also said that this had been done before here, so why can't you do it now? Same stare and response so I left.
Went to Costco and had the opposite of service. THEY were able to take my info and work on the transfer. She even said if I was shopping and wanted to wait they would probably have it ready in a hour or so. I will be picking it up on Monday. Needless to say, I will no longer use Safeway pharmacy at Roosevelt and will transfer all prescriptions at my house away from them. I will also do my shopping at other Safeway's in the area.

I get my medications filled here as it's a very convenient location. I always need to call in my meds, and have only once not been answered immediately. Staff is kind and helpful even with things outside of their control such as medication shortages. They are often super busy with long lines despite service going as fast as possible. I wonder if some of the problems other people mentioned could just be fixed by hiring more workers to prepare for the post-work rush?

Is there a way I can contact the owner by phone? It's a very srnsitive situation I am dealing with with this pharmacy's management specifically.

This pharmacy is completely unreliable. I was given incomplete medication at a time when I actually needed it, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. On top of that, they never answer their phone—no matter what time you call—and they don’t respond to messages either. It feels impossible to get any support or clarification when issues come up. This is by far the worst pharmacy experience I’ve had.

For some reason there’s always a problem here whether it’s filling scripts or communicating with the staff. The only person with customer service skills is the actual pharmacist. All in all just rude people here. If you want to be spoken down and spend 45 min while picking up your rx (if it’s even ready) definitely go here. EDITED: to add that they lied about not receiving my prescription and only admitted it once my provider sent a screenshot of the time it was accepted by the pharmacy. If you don’t have literal receipts they’ll pass off accountability to anyone but take it themselves.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
