Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I have been coming here for many years, and I just HAD to write this review because the entire 417 crew is 10/10 .. you cannot ask for a better pharmacy, from the Pharmacists themselves who actually care about you, going above and beyond to help you anytime you have questions or need guidance, to the staff that ALWAYS provide 5 star customer care— from warm receptions to efficient, fast, but thorough checkouts— you cannot ask for better service! In a weird way I’m reticent to share how perfect this pharmacy is ONLY because I don't want them to get too overworked with new business but it just has to be shared, because they deserve the praise.. and more.. so if anyone from mgmt is checking in— the entire 417 team deserves the world, bonuses, raises, whatever shows them your love and appreciation!!!!!!!! THANK YOU 417 Pharmacy Team!!!!! -Lis

My child’s rx for3 bottles of amoxicillin was sent in on Saturday. They only had one bottle and said I needed to come back on Monday when their next order came in. Called Monday night to confirm availability and they didn’t order enough so said I could come back two extra times. I said I would wait until Tuesday to limit it to one extra visit. The moment I received the text on Tuesday that they received the appropriate amount I rushed to the pharmacy (I live close). As I approached the pharmacy window they were just starting to close their see-through metal gate. A person looked at me and said lunchtime. And continued to close the gate. Now I’m standing here for a half hour while I see at least 4 employees working through the gate. One of the employees said we are closed until 1:30 and I explained what happened. He just said “as long as you know you’ll be waiting until 1:30”. I am a regular customer of this pharmacy and of qfc. I cannot believe how rude this is given that I am simply trying to pick up the rest of an rx. I’m not trying to delay their lunch and I could have been in and out in 30 seconds. I have to wait because the first bottle of amoxicillin is out for my kid because of the dose he needs. In order to not miss the next dose I am here waiting. Never again.

Poor service. When my prescription was declined, the pharmacy did not notify me. They did not give a reason. They refused to followup with the doctor. It turned out to be their mistake all along! High staff turnover so they won't remember your name like at other pharmacies, and they ask the same questions every time. Long lines. Last time I went, they closed the second register as an elderly disabled man was approaching, so he had to go back and wait.
