Dr. Lisa Precht is a talented Seattle plastic surgeon that can improve the appearance of a flabby, saggy midsection with tummy tuck surgery. Dr. Precht performs tummy tuck (also known as abdominoplasty) to create a slimmer and firmer abdomen for a more beautiful physique. Over her many years in practice, she has refined her technique so results look natural and beautiful. Tummy tuck can be performed on its own or in conjunction with another body contouring or breast surgery procedure as part of a mommy makeover treatment plan. Am I A Candidate For A Tummy Tuck? You may be an appropriate candidate for tummy tuck if you have loose skin and diet and exercise-resistant fat deposits on your abdomen. Tummy tuck can also help if your abdominal muscles have separated or weakened (often due to pregnancy) and cause your abdomen to protrude. You should be in good physical health and at, or close to, your ideal weight (within 25 pounds). If you are considering tummy tuck, but planning to become pregnant in the future, you should postpone your surgery; future pregnancy will reverse the effects of surgery. You should understand the possible surgical outcomes and accept the risk of rare complications. These will be discussed with you during a surgical consultation with Dr. Precht. She will also perform a physical examination of your abdomen, noting the amount of excess skin and fat and the degree of skin elasticity. Tummy Tuck vs. Liposuction Although tummy tuck and liposuction are very different procedures, there are some common elements. For that reason, there may be confusion about whether you need a tummy tuck or liposuction. For example, both procedures can reduce unwanted fat in the abdomen. However, liposuction is intended purely for fat removal. It can be used on nearly any area of the body (and some facial areas) to produce a slimmer contour. Liposuction will not improve the look of loose skin, nor will it have any effect on weakened or separated abdominal muscles. Tummy tuck treats weakened and separated abdominal muscles and loose saggy skin in addition to reducing abdominal fat. If you have been pregnant (especially multiple times), you likely have skin and muscle-related problems and will require comprehensive correction with tummy tuck surgery. If you have not been pregnant and have stubborn abdominal fat and generally good skin elasticity, liposuction will probably be a better and less invasive option. Dr. Precht offers non-surgical liposuction using VASER technology. If you are questioning which procedure is most appropriate for your needs, the best way to confirm this is to speak with Dr. Precht personally. She will examine your “problem areas” and recommend the procedure that is better suited to your goals. More About Tummy Tuck Surgery Our Seattle tummy tuck surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure and takes anywhere from one to five hours. Anesthesia will be used for your comfort during surgery. To begin your tummy tuck surgery, Dr. Precht will make an incision right above your pubic area. The incision extends horizontally along the lower abdomen and possibly around to your back. It will be placed low enough so that any scarring is concealed beneath a panty or bikini bottom. Through the incision, Dr. Precht will remove excess skin and tighten the remaining skin. She will tighten the abdominal muscles and remove excess fat deposits. Dr. Precht may relocate your navel to a higher position on your abdomen, if necessary (an additional incision may be needed around the navel). Finally, she will close the incision and dress it with fluffy bandages. A compression garment may be placed around the abdomen to put gentle pressure on the tissues as they heal. If it has been discussed during the pre-operative planning process, Dr. Precht can use liposuction to sculpt the sides and back to complement the abdomen. Dr. Precht can also perform breast surgery during the same operation if it has been discussed as part of a mommy makeover plan. Combining surgeries can be advantageous because it only requires one round of anesthesia and one surgical recovery. Tummy Tuck Surgery Recovery Immediately following tummy tuck, you will feel tired and groggy from the anesthesia. You should have a loved one drive you home and help you get situated in a comfortable position, with food, water and prescription medications nearby. For the first few days, your range of motion will be limited. You will have mild bruising and swelling, and possible numbness at the incision. If you experience discomfort, you can take oral medication as prescribed by Dr. Precht. Avoid bending, lifting or straining as your abdomen heals. Follow all of Dr. Precht’s instructions to promote optimal healing and prevent complications.

The precise procedure varies with each cosmetic surgery patient, depending on the body type and desired surgical outcome. Generally speaking, the body lift procedure entails making an incision that follows the upper and/or inner thigh to the waistline. In more extensive surgeries, the incision goes completely around the waist and lower back. Adjustments to the buttocks and thighs require an incision at the crease of the buttocks. Excess skin is then removed, followed by the underlying fat deposits. Finally, the skin is pulled taught and sutured into the new configuration. The entire procedure can last from 3 to 7 hours. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Body Lift Procedure body Reshape mid-body contour Correct sagging skin and fat due to aging or excessive weight loss Remedy weight gain and stretched skin caused by multiple pregnancies Body Lift Surgery Recovery Generally, post-operative instructions require plenty of rest and limited movement in order to speed up the healing process and recovery time. Bandages are applied right after surgery to minimize swelling and provide support. Tubes are often placed to drain excess fluids. The scars resulting from the incisions are permanent but are carefully placed so as to minimize visibility. Seattle body lift patients sometimes report minor pain associated with surgery which can be treated with oral medication. Recovery time varies with the extent of the procedure. While complications are rare, patients can minimize potential problems by carefully following the directions that are given after the surgery. Body Lift vs. Liposuction There are many differences between our liposuction procedure and our body lift procedure. Seattle patients must understand before they make an appointment for body lift surgery that liposuction is the process of removing a significant amount of fat under the skin. Patients who undergo significant weight loss or liposuction may experience extra lose skin. This is when body lift surgery comes into play. But while liposuction and body lift are very different procedures, they are both useful for the purpose of body reshaping and can also be quite effective when combined. How Long Do Body Lift Results Last? Most patients notice great improvement right after surgery. Others notice significant improvement only after the recovery period is finished. Most patients experience long-lasting body lift results if they are able to maintain their body weight. Schedule A Body Lift Consultation Patients can schedule a consultation today to have their questions answered by board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Lisa Precht. Dr. Lisa Precht is renowned throughout Washington state as one of the best liposuction and body contouring surgeons. Performing liposuction approximately 10 times per week, Dr. Precht has helped numerous patients achieve leaner, firmer, and more proportionate body contours. Thanks to her refined techniques, Dr. Precht has developed an exceptional reputation for delivering outstanding results, attracting countless liposuction patients every year. (Please note that Dr. Precht specializes in body liposuction and does not perform liposuction of the chin or neck.) What Is Liposuction? When it comes to weight loss, liposuction isn't a replacement for a healthy diet or regular exercise. However, liposuction is an effective solution for those seeking to remove stubborn deposits of fat that are not burned away through natural means. The liposuction procedure can provide patients with well-proportioned body contours when applied to several areas of the body. Ideal liposuction candidates include individuals who are in good health but are seeking to eliminate stubborn areas of fat that do not respond to diet and exercise. Who Is A Candidate For Liposuction? The ideal candidate for liposuction is a man or a woman in good physical health who struggles with excess fatty areas on the body that are resistant to diet and exercise. Patients with good skin elasticity tend to achieve the best results, while those with a significant amount of loose skin are often better treated with a procedure that combines liposuction with skin excision, such as an abdominoplasty (“tummy tuck”). For patients with a minimal amount of skin laxity, advanced VASERlipo has the added advantage of achieving the highest degree of skin tightening compared to other liposuction methods (including laser lipolysis), which further enhances the results of the procedure. With VASERlipo, Dr. Precht helps her patients achieve an improved body contour, which often leads to increased self-confidence. VASERlipo In Seattle At Premier Cosmetic Surgery & Medispa, we are proud to offer VASERlipo — the latest, most technologically advanced method of liposuction and body contouring available today. Dr. Precht is one of the few surgeons in Seattle and Bellevue that has extensive experience with VASERlipo and offers this superior technique to her patients. If you have struggled with stubborn fat that does not respond to diet and exercise, VASERlipo is a minimally invasive procedure that can help you achieve the body you've always wanted without the risks, downtime, and difficult recovery of major surgery. How Does VASERlipo Work? As the most technologically advanced method of fat removal available today, VASERlipo produces superior results with minimal downtime. VASERlipo utilizes ultrasonic energy to treat the areas of fat, and the fat is subsequently removed with tiny tubes. The initial phase of the procedure involves the use of tumescent fluid, an anesthetic solution injected under the skin that produces a numbing effect and prevents bleeding. Thanks to its high level of safety, tumescent liposuction is the standard liposuction method performed today. After the tumescent fluid is introduced, a tiny VASER probe that emits ultrasonic energy at its tip is inserted to dislodge the fat from the surrounding tissue, while leaving vital structures unharmed. Because of the powerful yet gentle energy emitted, the surgeon is able to remove more fat with VASERlipo than with any other liposuction technique. One of the main reasons that Dr. Precht, who has utilized virtually every liposuction machine available, favors VASERlipo is that she can get more fat out with this technique. Once the ultrasonic energy emitted from the VASER probe has dislodged the fat sufficiently, the fat is then removed via a tiny tube called a micro-cannula. The fat is then aspirated into canisters that the patient can view when the procedure is concluded. Visualizing How VASERlipo Works Infiltration - Dr. Precht injects tumescent fluid into the fatty layer. Ultrasound Deliver – The VASERlipo surgeon uses a special probe to deliver ultrasound energy into the fat cells, causing them to separate from each other and blend with the tumescent fluid. Aspiration – Using a special suction micro-cannula, Dr. Precht easily removes the loosened fat cells. Skin Retraction – As the body heals, the skin in the treatment area tightens, producing natural -looking results. How Vaser Lipo Works What Areas Of The Body Can Be Treated With VASERlipo? The following areas can be effectively treated with VASERlipo: Abdomen Mons Pubis (pubic area) Hips (love handles) Waist Upper back (bra roll) Buffalo hump (dorsocervical fat pad) Axilla (armpit) Arms Inner thighs Outer thighs (saddle bags) Knees

Experienced cosmetic laser surgeon Dr. Lisa Precht offers laser skin resurfacing at her plastic surgery facility. This procedure uses lasers to create a smooth and toned skin appearance. The laser “ablates,” or destroys, the outer layers of skin which have been damaged by age, sun, acne, wrinkles, or pigmentation problems or spots. The destruction of the older layers of skin prompts the body to generate a new layer of skin cells which are unaffected by the previous skin condition. Some lasers may be inappropriate for darker skin complexions. Reasons for Considering Laser Skin Resurfacing: Reduce or remove facial wrinkles, creases, and lines. Improve sun-damaged skin. Correct pigmentation problems and spots. Effectively treat scars from acne, birthmarks, moles, and tattoos. Tighten skin that has lost elasticity due to aging. General Procedure Potential Seattle laser skin resurfacing patients should know the process of this procedure beforehand. First, the face is cleansed of oils in order to prepare for the laser procedure, and an antibiotic ointment is applied. The laser is then used to ablate various layers of skin in a controlled manner until the appropriate depth of skin is reached. This procedure is commonly performed with a local anesthetic, with or without sedation. Recovery Process Generally, post-operative instructions call for plenty of rest and limited movement in order to speed up the healing process and recovery time. Antibiotic cream and bandages are applied to the affected area immediately following surgery in order to aid with the healing process, to minimize swelling, and to control the risk of infection. The skin will be red and may ooze. Some discomfort should also be expected. Any pain associated with the surgery can be treated with oral medication. While complications are rare, patients can minimize potential problems by carefully following the post-operative directions. Recovery time varies with the extent of the resurfacing and the number of procedures completed. Patients who are looking for smoother skin can schedule a consultation for laser skin resurfacing in Seattle today. Have your questions answered by Dr. Lisa Precht and find out if you are the best candidate for this treatment. We are now accepting patients from the Tacoma and Bellevue areas.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are revolutionary medications that are so effective for weight loss that they are often replacing the need for bariatric surgery! Semaglutide & Tirzepatide are generic forms of brand-name drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. The brand-name drugs are usually only covered by insurance if a patient has diabetes and associated complications. The cost without insurance is usually over $1000 per month, making it unaffordable for many. With the introduction of the generic GLP-1 medications (which are the exact same drugs), fast, effective and sustainable weight loss is now accessible to everyone! GLP-1 weight management injections are used for weight loss in conjunction with a diet and exercise plan. The injections are delivered beneath the surface of the skin (subcutaneously) once a week for weight management in adults. Semaglutide & Tirzepatide both mimic a glucagon-like peptide hormone called GLP-1 which is the hormone that tells the brain that you're full. The hormone also slows the movement of food from the stomach into the small intestine, helping to reduce appetite and increase satiety after eating. Tirzepatide also mimics an additional weight management hormone called glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). An interesting side effect that many of our patients report is the reduction or elimination of certain food cravings and the "food noise" or "food chatter" in their heads, giving them the freedom to focus their mental energy on life! In addition to weight loss, other treatment benefits associated with GLP-1 injections include improved A1C and blood sugar levels by increasing insulin (a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels) and inhibiting glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar); improved blood pressure; reduced risk of major adverse cardiovascular events; and reduced polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) dysfunction, among others. Many of our patients have lowered their blood pressure with weight loss and no longer need to take their blood pressure medications! WHAT TO EXPECT: There is no downtime associated with GLP-1 weight loss injections. Your treatment will begin with a consultation including a review of your health and weight history, medication history and possible blood work to check lab values to ensure you are a good candidate for weight loss injections. Injections are performed once weekly over the course of months to achieve desired results. Dosing adjustments will be titrated based on your body's response to the medications and any side effects that you experience. TREATMENT: The typical treatment regimen includes an initial series of weekly injections, including monthly follow-ups. You will generally remain on the same dose for 4 weeks at a time, and the dose will be gradually increased until you reach your maintenance dose. You will be taught how to do the injections so that you can inject yourself at home each week. You will be given a food journal in which your daily weight and all food and drinks consumed will be recorded. Our staff will support you every step of the way so that you can achieve your weight loss goal! ENHANCED RESULTS WITH THE ADDITION OF VITAMIN B6: Our GLP-1 medications are combined with Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), which has many added benefits. Vitamin B6 regulates blood sugar, and boosts energy and metabolism which accelerates weight loss. Vitamin B6 also reduces nausea and fatigue, and maintains the nervous system which stabilizes mood and enhances cognitive function. LIPOSUCTION & GLP-1 WEIGHT LOSS: For patients who want to target their problem areas but who also want to lose weight in general, combining liposuction and GLP-1 treatment is the perfect duo! Many of our patients use liposuction as a kickstart to living a healthier life and losing weight, and now with GLP-1 injections, it is easier than ever. Most of our patients report seeing amazing results from Vaser Liposuction after just 24 hours, which is not common in most liposuction practices. Achieving results so quickly can be very motiviating for a patient's weight loss journey as they are encouraged to make conscious eating choices in order to maintain their new shape and achieve even better results! PRICING: Semaglutide & Vitamin B6 $500/month 3-month option $1175 ($392/month!) Tirzepatide & Vitamin B6 $750/month 3-month option $1895 ($632/month!) Includes: Consultation Medications & Supplies Food Journal Diet Plan Weekly & Monthly Follow Ups
