The Emergency Department at Valley Medical Center is located on VMC's main campus in Renton, Washington, at the intersection of Route 167 and SE 180th Street. Valley Medical Center is the largest public district hospital in the State of Washington and operates one of the busiest Emergency departments on the West Coast, with a Level III trauma center, state-of-the-art technology, all private rooms, and free parking. In the event of a regional disaster, VMC serves as a back-up to Harborview Medical Center, in Seattle. Free parking for patients and guests underground in the South Tower.
