Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

The slowest and most inept pharmacy we have ever worked with. Either get more workers or let another business handle it. Will never use again and moved our whole family to a competitor. FM cannot handle the customer base they acquired when Rite Aid closed unfortunately.

Usually, I only post reviews if I have good things to say. I dislike posting bad reviews. But...over the last few years, this Fred Meyer pharmacy has changed. I went in to pick up a prescription and received an "upsell." The cashier told me I was eligible for X, Y, and Z vaccines and did I want them? Right now?? Seriously? I know what I'm eligible for and when/where/if I want to get them. I don't need to be upsold. Also, the man in line behind me was coughing and coughing. No social distancing. I was wearing a mask but needed to leave, not be delayed and upsold into getting numerous vaccines the same day I'm picking up a prescription. The telephone system is now automated and rarely understands what I'm saying or typing into my phone and often cuts out if the reception isn't good. Also, I have to click through every prescription on file to get to the most recent one through that system! It all feels very corporate and unwieldy. I'm now switching to our local, independently owned pharmacy. I called them and instantly got a real person on the phone. They assured me that they won't try to upsell me with additional purchases/vaccines when I'm in there for something else entirely.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at the pharmacy specifically dealing with Diana.
I had a medical procedure earlier today and was instructed to pick up my post-operative medications promptly before the anesthesia wore off. When I arrived at the pharmacy, I waited to be acknowledged and was eventually directed to drop off my prescriptions. At that time, I was told the medications would be ready in one hour to which I responded I would wait in store for them.
I returned after waiting the full hour, only to be told again—without any additional clarification—that it would be another hour. When I attempted to confirm whether that was an accurate estimate , I was given the same response in a dismissive tone, along with the explanation that there was only one pharmacist on duty and she “had no control over time frames”
Again, another hour later I returned. Only for Diana to indicate “yeah, it’s still not ready”. I again pleaded my case about just wanting my post op meds so I could go home and rest. The pharmacist overheard, looked into my chart and indicated that these meds weren’t even flagged for expedition. The pharmacist Theresa(?) hopped into action and had my meds done 10 minutes later under the circumstances. I appreciated her empathy and understanding. But was fairly appalled that Diana had absolutely no cares to give.
I understand that pharmacies can be busy and that staffing limitations happen. However, the lack of communication, empathy, and effort to provide a realistic timeframe or prioritize post-operative medication made an already difficult situation more stressful. As a patient recovering from a procedure, I would have appreciated clearer expectations and a more considerate interaction.
I am not raising this concern about the wait time itself, but rather about how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback can be used to improve communication and patient care, particularly for individuals in time-sensitive or vulnerable situations.
Thank you for your time and attention.

They are going to kill somebody. This store is such a joke they cant fill perceptions in any sort of a timely matter. They are always rude and act like it doesnt matter. Seriously!!! if you had a a medication you needed to live and had a weeks worth left and called in a week ahead to get it refilled, there is still a big chance they wont have it still and they wont be in any hurry to get it filled instead they will tell you to Check back in a week and then they will tell you when you check back "we dont know if itll be done today and cant give you an eta." Go somewhere else!!! This place cant or wont keep up with the needs of the people and if your medication keeps you alive you CANNOT rely on this pharmacy. I cant belive any pharmacy would be as consistently unhelpful as this one has been for 2 months.

Very poorly designed system. Long, long lines. Stand in the middle of shoppers trying to leave store. Slow to fill. I miss Rite Aid..
