  I was so scared to get my teeth pulled, came here with mad butterflies. 18 teeth pulled in about an hour or less from start to finish no pain after numbed me up it was great they were done before I realized they started. Just got my stitches out again no pain and now waiting for gums to recede to get my new grill. 5 stars hands down 2 thumbs up. Very nice efficient people here. Thank you NW Smiles!

  About 2 weeks ago, I called this office trying to get a sooner appointment than the November 19th (consult only in Seattle) appointment that I have for an abscessed tooth. The tooth has been throbbing, & keeping me up at night. The gentleman that I spoke to, on that day, was very helpful & he stated "we can get you in sooner than that" & he instructed me to go sign a release to have my records sent to their office. I did sign the release & got my records transferred. However, when I called back (about a week ago) a lady who identified herself as the denturist answered the phone & she started asking me questions like "are you married?" I found that to be strange because those questions are usually asked when you fill out new patient paperwork. When I asked if I could just schedule an appointment, she stated "not at this time." I thought that the denturist might be filling in at the front desk, & I felt that she might not be familiar with scheduling, so I waited until later that afternoon & called back, to try to just schedule an appointment because my records had been sent there & I needed to get in right away (I still haven't gotten an appointment anywhere). When I called back, a different lady answered & I explained that I have an abscess tooth that is throbbing, I explained that I spoke to a gentleman from their office, who said that this office could get me in sooner than November 19th. I also explained that I had my records transferred to their office & that I had signed an ROI, as he had instructed. She just replied "we don't think you will fit in here, so we can't take you as a patient." I was stunned...before becoming disabled, I was a dental/oral surgery assistant for MANY years. At times, when I was pregnant, I filled in as a receptionist for the oral & maxillofacial surgeon that I worked for. I worked in just about every dental specialty there is, & I assisted & filled in as a receptionist, at times, for general dentists. I NEVER worked for ANY office that required a patient to "fit in" to receive treatment! I am still in pain, having difficulty sleeping at night, & I am now sick with congestion, fever, etc. on top of my infected tooth. I am frightened because I have a LOT of other health issues, & I can't get treatment. A dental office stating that they can see you sooner if you sign an ROI & get your records released to them, & then refusing to even schedule an appointment for a patient after they explained that they have an infection, abscessed tooth & have serious health issues, & giving the reason as "you don't fit in"...I feel is very discriminatory (I believe due to my insurance?) & I feel it is also uncaring & dismissive. This hasn't been the only office that has denied me treatment. However, this office even had me sign an ROI & have my information released to them, & then still denied me treatment. They won'teven allow me to have an appointment for a consultation, & the only reason they gave me is "we don't think you will fit in." I made the mistake of moving to Washington 4 years ago, & I have NEVER faced so much discrimination because of my insurance, as I have in Washington state. This state doesn't seem to care about it's resident's...especially if they don't have private insurance. I explained to the lady that said "I don't think you will fit in here" that I have serious heart problems, & I know that having an infected tooth & having heart issues can be very serious! She just hung up.

  If you have Medicaid, I strongly recommend thinking twice before going here. My experience has been extremely frustrating and, honestly, painful. Once you are established with this office, I felt like I was essentially stuck with them, even when I needed care they were not appropriately addressing. I have been dealing with a recurring mouth infection accompanied by significant pain. Despite clearly suffering and repeatedly seeking help, I felt my concerns were dismissed and that I was left without adequate treatment or a reasonable plan to address the infection and pain. No patient should have to repeatedly advocate for themselves just to get appropriate attention when they are in significant pain. Unfortunately, that has been my experience here. If you have Medicaid, I would encourage you to look into your other options before choosing this office. Valleyview accepts Medicaid and, in my experience, is an excellent alternative.

  They are amazing! I got my dentures 2 days ago and love them. Fantastic people work here. I’d definitely refer people here.

  First off, THANK YOU. I was In so much pain and the dentist was able to do the extraction. i also don’t have the best time at the dentist, i cried, i was shaking (needles in my mouth give me anxiety) but was told needed to calm down or he won’t finish. Im over exaggerating. Which again… i understood where he was coming from, just extremely grateful he got me through it and i am no longer in pain. Also S/O to the front desk lady, you have such a big heart and really appreciated you for helping me out. I’m happy to say I’ve found my place. Thank you again.
