Just joined about a month ago. I am heavy set and was very nervous about going. Wanted to get my body moving more and work on some core muscles. This experience has been great. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. Definitely should give it a try!

I have been a member of Club Pilates for 7 years. I wish I had more time to go, but after starting out with their 4 claases/month plan, I am now attending 8 classes/month. The staff is all very friendly and quick to respond. I appreciate that they have a variety of instructors all with different styles of teaching and they offer a good mix of classes. I have tried most classes and have my favorites. I also have my favorite instructors, whose schedules don't always align with mine, so I find myself in a routine of taking the same two classes each week. Things to be aware of: you class credits will expire, but you can contact the club to request they extend your credits. This is one thing they are quick to respond with. They will typically extend them two weeks. You can also pause your membership if you will be out of town for a significant period of time. There is a small administrative fee for this. They offer a filtered water bottle refill station. I really enjoy Pilates and feel comfortable in this environment. There is no expectation to dress a certain way, other than the requirement of grip socks for safety. Speaking of safety, I am thankful for reminders from instructors to move in a way that my body allows. Their cues are all very helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of certain information not being shared at the beginning with me that I had to learn as I went, such as when new class schedules get posted (Fridays) and the credits expiring. I am all good now that I've learned this.
