- MMMarc3 days ago1.0Don't waste your time. Use numotion. National Seating want to collect t thier fees while you do the paperwork, dealing with double checking to make sure everything is in order. Nope they literally let your file sit until you bug them then they act yoy arw being unreasonable for asking the to expedite it. Lazy workers bad management.

Now I can’t get any of the numbers showing on search to answer only getting recording to push more buttons to get yo correct dept them only getting music no one answers. Since I got my chair Mt.Vernon, WA location had been closed and no info to get in touch with anyother location provided as to where to call for help.

I love my new chair and I was really impressed by how knowledgeable and professional the entire team was.
- KAKirstin AngellyMar 19, 20261.0DO NOT GET THIS CHAIR. I bought it for my dad last year and the chair is terrible. I suggest just putting a freewheel on your current chair. If I would have known this chair would break as often as it does I would never have purchased. The customer support “helps” and send you how to fix it yourself with parts but a chair shouldn’t break every month you shouldn’t have to repair all the time and constantly tighten everything. My dad has never had these issues with any of his chairs. Just get the quickie with the freewheel much much much smarter I regret not doing this.

Refuse to listen to what is needed or recommended for the chair from Physical therapist or the user of said chair. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
