  My experience at this eye clinic was unfortunate from beginning to end. The optometrist, Dr. Charles Dale, was extremely unprofessional in his mannerisms, asking me if I read "real" books "at my age" (I am a 30 year old adult and felt I was being spoken to as if I was a little girl) and commented that I had "wonky eyes" before following me outside after my appointment was finished, sat on the bench and watched me leave. My prescription was pretty different from my original, but I trusted it and waited for my eyes to adjust. For over 8 weeks. They didn't adjust, and when I went to a different clinic to see if my prescription was correct, it was so far off the optometrist was concerned I had been driving wearing such a different prescription from what it actually is. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone after what I went through here.

  Dr. Dale is the best. He takes a serious interest in his patients' (eye) wellness. He knows his stuff. His office staff is so friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to my visits at the Peninsula Eye Clinic, and it is all because of Dr. Dale!

  I thought it would be good to support a local business, however my experience at this place was terrible. They are too expensive and it took too long to get my glasses. The doctor is a cranky old man and the woman at the front desk is rude.

  Terrible scheduling experience, call to schedule don’t bother with their website. Doctor did not introduce himself. Charges were unclear. Be wary, they say Eye Med covers exams and not “hardware” this does not Include exams for contact lenses, that is an additional $85 charge. Woman at front desk (Gig Harbor) condescending and unhelpful. Be upfront about asking the cost for different exams/services. Will not be returning.

  Great Doc, Great Staff The front desk staff are super friendly and they got me in pretty quickly. The doc did a complete exam on the health of my eyes and my vision. He then helped me find the best value for my vision and needs. I am excited to get my new glasses and feel I will be a safer driver now!! My mother went blind from eye disease so I am relieved to know my eyes have normal aging issues but are healthy overall. Will continue to use Dr. Dale.
