- LCLacey CAug 25, 20262.0Unfortunately, my experience with Club Pilates was disappointing. I really wanted to enjoy it, but there were several things that made it difficult for me to feel comfortable or want to continue. The Level 2 assessment is only offered once a month, which means if you’re ready to move up, you’re essentially stuck waiting until the next assessment. There’s also a 90-day commitment, and the only way out of it is paying a $100 cancellation fee. But honestly, the biggest issue for me was the overall atmosphere. As a new member, I never really felt welcomed or acknowledged. The instructors never came up and talked to me or made an effort to make me feel comfortable. I’ve been to many different gyms and fitness studios, and I’ve never felt this unwelcome. It really made me realize how important the environment and energy of a gym or studio are to me.

Consistency is super important to me, so I had to cancel my membership almost immediately once I realized how overcrowded it is. It’s fine if you don’t work and have a very flexible schedule!

I also had a recent interaction with an employee, Mallory, whose tone felt dismissive and unprofessional. Additionally, instructors frequently asked if they had met me before, which started to feel impersonal after attending multiple classes. Because of this, I won’t be renewing my membership.
