First time using this pharmacy. Pharmacist refused to give me the medication sent by my child's Healthcare provider and told me to treat his condition using karo syrup instead. I'll go back to my previous pharmacy.

They do cold call sales for your vaccines. This is really sketchy because they then prompt you for personal information for id verification that shouldn't be given out to solicitors who phone you, but when you call back, the vaccines they try to tell you that you don't have are just ones in their system, they don't confirm state records even though they have access. This can be risky for certain individuals. Vaccines should not be used as a sales generator and especially without accessing full vaccine history and misinforming customers based on their partial record. They are going to end up causing health problems and over burdening their already slammed pharmacist with confused customers.

We have used this pharmacy since moving to Burlington 16 years ago. We find them friendly, attentive and they are familiar with our needs. They are also, one of few pharmacies with evening hours which makes it more available.

If I could give this staff a zero stars, I would. After requesting that they transfer my medication over to them from Walgreens, they said “they were working on it” several different times I called, then told me they had sent the request multiple times with no response from Walgreens and that I would have to call and see what the issue was. This process took over a week. When I called Walgreens, they informed me that no transfer requests were sent by Haggen and that they should have called them directly to have it figured out, but no one called. I went into the Haggen pharmacy and verified my name, birthday and medication that I needed because it was going to expire. The Asian male employee I talked to several times told me that he had “dropped the ball like in a game of tennis” and that I would have to contact Walgreens again, which I did. But after trying for over a week to get my meds, the prescription had expired and I could no longer get the refill. I was very upset and called the Asian male at Haggen that I had previously spoken with and he then informed me that the issue “was above his pay grade.” They are completely incompetent, rude and take no responsibility for their mistakes. Don’t waste your time at this pharmacy!
