I went to this pharmacy once, and they made no effort to be helpful. I had my prescription transferred to CVS because they seemed incompetent here, and the service was WAY better. Walgreens in Marysville is also a good alternative. At the Safeway, they were transferring a prescription from Walgreens because Walgreens couldn't fill it. It was close to closing time, but they didn't bother to tell Walgreens to rush the transfer. I found this out, so I called Walgreens and asked them to rush it, which they did. By the time I talked to Safeway again, they said it was now too close to closing time (I noticed they were closing earlier than their stated hours) and they refused to fill the prescription. I said I would get the prescription somewhere else the next day, and Safeway didn't bother to tell me that they would need to cancel their claim on the prescription for it to be fillable by someone else. I'm starting to think Safeway's pharmacist was actually vindictive, especially since CVS managed to fill my prescription within about 10 minutes (Safeway claimed it would take 25, even though I could see they were doing closing procedures and had no other customers. They closed about 10 minutes early.)

Got banned for almost having a seizure on call due to being tossed around left and right by the pharmacist gals to even see if my controlled medication could be filled due to quality issues since transferring it over from my last pharmacy in January. Do not trust these people with your controlled medication in terms of hrt they will not care especially considering even after i called insurance to transfer meds they wouldn't even call insurance back to make sure. Literally had to call insurance right back when transferring and have them call here so they would actually fill it not just for the controlled medication but for even 300mg Tylenol she said and i quote "we cant do that". Once again do not trust filling your medication here. Unfortunate update: after using the restroom here security eyed me for warming my hands in my pockets to the point of almost stopping me and only pausing once I took my hands out of my pockets to show that they're still wet and drying only then did she go back to what she was doing. This will be my last visit here due to the treatment I've received or any Safeway. Thank you for the many years of service otherwise.

I am just now leaving the Pharmacy… the interaction and the way I was just treated by Ivy, the woman checking me out was absolutely horrible! It’s my first and last time using this pharmacy. Ivy seriously needs to be retrained on how to communicate with people! Even just asking me for my birthday, I could immediately feel how much she hates her job and didn’t want to help me.
I work in customer service and I am always respectful and understanding. I get it everyone has a bad day, however projecting that onto other people is not it, at all!
