I’m extremely disappointed in the Shaw’s team for compiling all this negative feedback over the years and doing NOTHING to fix it. This is the worst pharmacy I’ve had to work with and by far the most unprofessional one. I’m not sure how competent the other employees are but somehow I always end up getting Deb and she is horrific. Overtly judgemental depending on the medications you’re picking up, withholding about coupons depending on her stereotype, refuses and actively talks patients OUT OF pharmacy counselling when requested, and avoids all forms of polite conversations with patients she isn’t friends with already. I hope you’ll do something about her soon considering these aren’t new complaints and a lot of us CAN’T make it to another pharmacy. Many of the patients are struggling with the hour off for lunch because of the lack of staggered lunch times.

Both, the pharmacist and the cashier are rude and disrespectful. They talked down to me and insisted on incorrect information being truth. I will not receive prescriptions here in the future.

This pharmacy has been one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve had.
During the Fourth of July weekend, there was only one pharmacist working the counter in a busy resort town on a holiday weekend. Despite being left without adequate support, he remained kind, apologized repeatedly for the long wait, and did everything he could to help every customer. The long wait was clearly a staffing issue, not his fault.
When I returned a week later, the employees working behind the counter were openly criticizing that same coworker for what had happened during the holiday weekend and discussing other coworkers’ personal lives while customers were standing there. Hearing employees gossip about one another in front of customers was incredibly unprofessional.
On top of that, the interaction we had at the counter was rude and dismissive. It felt as though customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the pharmacy exists.
I no longer use this pharmacy, but I genuinely believe many people would have a better experience driving a little farther to another location. Customer service starts with treating both customers and coworkers with respect, and unfortunately that was not the experience I witnessed here.
Hopefully management addresses the staffing concerns and the workplace culture, because both seem to be affecting the customer experience.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
