I’m happy to revisit my rating at a later date if things improve but for now I’d advise others look elsewhere the recent reviews are plagued with horrible customer service experiences.
I’ve been visiting this gym as a guest for several weeks. While the facility itself exceeds my needs and probably yours. I’ve had consistently poor experiences at the front desk with a staff member named Ivory.
On multiple occasions, I’ve stood at the desk waiting for his assistance while he was clearly aware of my presence, yet he offered no help despite me waiting for him to finish whatever task he was on. When he does assist it’s only at request, his responses are short, dismissive, while requests are delivered on his own timeline. Even a simple “thank you” often goes unacknowledged. Something as straightforward as retrieving my ID card after a workout feels unnecessarily difficult each time he’s working.
I tried addressing this by asking to speak with a manager. Ivory told me he “is the manager” and that no one else was available (it was 230 in the afternoon on a weekday). Given that I’ve now seen his name mentioned in several other negative reviews, I’m confident this is not a one off situation.
I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously and improves the front-of-house experience. A more professional approach at the desk would make a big difference for paying members and guests alike.

I recently joined this gym after leaving LA Fitness because I expected a significant upgrade, especially given the higher membership cost and its location in Stonebridge.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. For the price they charge, the equipment selection is underwhelming. There is only one hip thrust machine, and the overall variety of strength-training equipment feels limited. In fact, I've been to Planet Fitness locations that offer a better selection of machines despite costing much less.
I was also expecting the facility to feel more upscale considering it's located in Stonebridge, one of the nicer areas in Woodbridge. However, the gym doesn't feel particularly modern or luxurious, and the overall atmosphere doesn't match the premium price point.
The staff has been friendly, and the gym is generally clean, but when it comes to value for money, I don't feel this facility delivers. I specifically left LA Fitness thinking this would be a noticeable upgrade, but based on my experience, it has not lived up to my expectations.
I hope management continues investing in additional equipment and facility improvements because the location and membership pricing create expectations that currently aren't being met.

I visited OneLife Fitness Woodbridge today. While the location is convenient and the gym is spacious, I was very disappointed with the condition of the equipment and the overall cleanliness.
Many machines look extremely old and worn out, some have faded paint, and several dumbbells and barbells are rusty. The floors were not clean, and after my workout my hands were dirty from touching the equipment.
For the membership fees being charged, members deserve better-maintained equipment and a cleaner environment. It feels like the gym is collecting premium membership fees without investing enough in upkeep and replacements.
The facility has potential, but management needs to focus more on cleanliness, maintenance, and upgrading equipment.
Been a member at this location before they even moved to Potomac town center and was in Dale city. I really don’t like the customer service at the front desk, very unprofessional. The latest incident was my teen daughter set her apple ear phone case down next to the bench and when she was done she went to retrieve them and they were gone. She asked the front desk to review the camara to see if they were stolen and the front desk guy was dismissive along with the manager. It would be nice if the staff was more helpful and showed that they care just a little bit. Unfortunately customer service is becoming a thing of the past and if it wasn’t for my husband who use this gym every morning I would cancel our membership. Not only because of this incident but because of what this location has become over the last couple years.
