  I googled “affordable dentures” and this place popped up.. I sent an email - set up an appointment. I filled out nine forms all my information.. checked the other box for health problems and wrote out I was a recovering addict.. I wonder how they thought they could sell me 50 thousand in work. I feel like they could do better with fielding clients.. I’m just trying to make it Smiles of Virginia.. “we don’t do dentures” is nothing you should have to say..

  honestly i would die for this office. Dr. Greg and his staff fit me in urgently for multiple visits due to my pregnancy and wanting to get work done prior to my third trimester. Dr. Greg worked with another patient who had struggled to get mouth x-rays done for over 2 decades due to sensitivity. He sat patiently and gently with this person and helped them lead the procedure (safely) and found that the patient was not uncomfortable if he could hold the mouth piece himself - no one had ever offered, so he never knew. Alexandra who coordinates care for Dr. Greg is the literal light of my life, and the sweetest actual angel i’ve ever known. Farah is warm, welcoming, funny, and made sure my partner felt comfortable during my visits. Dr. Greg is a freakin painter, y’all. i promise you want an artist who is somehow also a doctor in charge of your face. when i tell you this sweet man hand crafted my teeth as if he was about to personally wear them forever, i mean that. him and Farah walked me through each step, shared stories and giggles, and at the end Dr. Greg held up a mirror and moved his lil head lamp around to make sure i could see his work well, and he asked if i wanted anything different. literally what??? we will never go anywhere else, and i cannot recommend this practice enough. and their office manager MAINTAINS REAL PLANTS all over the office. and they’re not even dying and sad! we love a plant girlie. Dr. Greg doesn’t know it yet, but he’s gonna be painting a landscape portrait of our beautiful shenandoah valley for my baby’s room. love these folks so much!

  While the office & exam rooms are very clean, the hygienist were not nice. One was very kind and we tried to book all our family members future cleanings with her in the future. However, because one hygienist did an x-ray on my son when I specifically asked her not to when I went to book future appointments for cleanings (That’s why I was requesting just the one kind hygienist) We had other bad experiences there as well they berated us & Scolded us the parents for not allowing Our children to use fluoride. The dentist Treated us like we were idiots. My children have severe allergic reactions to fluoride. This office actually made my children have fears of dentists! Maybe they have better dentist now and hygienist because it seems like there’s a lot of good reviews however, in the last years when we were going there, it was not good. I would not recommend them and I will never allow my children to go back.

  I can’t say enough good things about this practice! I just had my first dental appointment and from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor, everyone was so kind and friendly! My hygienist was so kind and made sure I was okay throughout the exam. Dr. Greg was wonderful as well, and even did research after my appointment about another diagnosis I have, to make sure he could guide me appropriately on how it can affect dental procedures. It was time he didn’t have to take but it really showed me how dedicated he and the entire practice are to making sure patients are given the support they need. I have a lot of dental anxiety and this practice really prioritized my comfort throughout. I cannot recommend them enough!

  I have never had a great experience at a dentist’s office. It’s just not possible. However, I was referred by a friend to Smiles of Virginia after having one of the worst experiences at my previous dentist. Dr. Carley and her staff (special shout to Alexandra, Malika, Molly and the super friendly receptionists, whose names I didn’t get so I apologize)! The whole staff feels more like my friends than just another patient. I’m always walked through every second of what is happening, what to do if anything hurts, constant affirmation and comfort. No one likes having anyone poke around in their mouths but I swear that this is the best dentist’s office I’ve ever been to in my 41 years. Since my first appointment, I take every chance to refer everyone I know to Smiles of Virginia (and now my mom, sisters, kids AND my Primary Care Physician go there). Super friendly, super kind compassionate, empathetic… just everything anyone would want in a doctor’s office. I’m so thankful that I was referred. The end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
