    I've been a member at OneLife Fitness since 2021, and after several years I can honestly say it's one of the best memberships I've invested in. While it may be a little more expensive than some other gyms, I truly feel like you get what you pay for. The amenities alone make it worth it. The sauna, pool, hot tub, and splash pad are fantastic. As a parent, the splash pad has been one of our saving graces during the winter months when Virginia Beach can feel a little gloomy. My kids absolutely love it. Any time I post to social media a video of my kids going down the water slide I get 20+ responses from people begging to know where the place is. I find it very relaxing to just sit there with a book while my kids wear themselves out in the winter. The Kids Club is an additional $15 per child each month, but in my opinion it's an incredible value. They always have a movie playing, video games, toys, and a large jungle gym to keep the kids entertained. The staff who work there are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, which gives me peace of mind while I work out. (we started bringing our children around 6 months-but I know they can be younger!) They do not require them to be potty trained-they will simply call you when a diaper needs changed or if your child needs help going potty. The group fitness classes are another huge perk. They're included with the membership, the instructors are excellent, and there are plenty of options for different fitness levels. One thing that has always stood out to me is how clean the facility is. The locker rooms are spacious and spotless, and staff members are constantly cleaning throughout the day. I honestly don't think I've ever seen so much as a speck of dust on a machine. Everyone I've interacted with from the front desk to the trainers has been friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They also have great operating hours, opening early and closing late, which makes it easy to fit a workout into almost any schedule(if I can do it so can you!) After being a member for several years, I still look forward to going. If you're looking for a clean, family-friendly gym with excellent amenities and staff, I highly recommend OneLife Fitness.

    I’ve been going to OneLife Fitness for years and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, the gym is clean and sanitary, and the equipment is well maintained. Ryan D. was very helpful and provided great customer service. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for a welcoming place to work out.

    I never thought I would write a negative review about this gym, but I’m doing it to bring attention to the management and to warn other members who may face the same situation. Today I came in because I wanted to either cancel my membership or find some temporary option for the summer. During summer we usually spend much more time outdoors and stay active outside instead of going to the gym regularly. The manager told me that if I canceled my membership, I would be charged the equivalent of three months of membership fees. Since I have a membership with my child, the cancellation fee would have been around $600. I honestly could not believe what I was hearing and asked several times if I understood correctly. He confirmed that according to their policy, if you do not give a 30-day notice, you are charged three months of membership fees. I still cannot understand how this pricing makes any sense or why management thinks such a policy is acceptable. It feels extremely greedy and unfair. More importantly, it shows a complete lack of understanding of customers’ needs and creates a very negative impression of this gym. After that, I started asking about the possibility of freezing my membership and then giving the required 30-day cancellation notice during the freeze period so I would not have to pay a $600 cancellation fee. However, I’m honestly not sure the manager fully understood what I was trying to ask, and I’m not even sure whether this option will actually work. In the end, I just froze the membership for now and will come back another day to speak with a different manager. To make things worse, there is a recreation center literally one mile away with a large pool and a well-equipped gym where the annual membership is only about $120 for an adult and $40 for a child. Meanwhile, this gym treats loyal customers this way when they simply want to pause or cancel a membership. In general, I also want to say that the customer service at this facility has a lot of room for improvement, especially considering that we have been members of this gym for over two years.

    I had a very positive experience working with Casper at OneLife Fitness Red Mill. He took the time to explain how to track meals using the Cronometer app and answered my questions about health, nutrition, and overall wellness in a clear and professional manner. What I appreciated most was that he was genuinely helpful and educational without being pushy or trying to pressure me into purchasing anything. He listened to my questions, provided thoughtful guidance, and made the information easy to understand. Casper was knowledgeable, professional, and approachable throughout our conversation. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for guidance on nutrition, fitness, and healthy lifestyle habits. I would also like to recognize Liz, the General Manager. She is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. She runs the cleanest and friendliest gym I have ever been to. As someone who lives in South Florida and regularly visits many well-known branded gyms, I can honestly say that OneLife Fitness Red Mill consistently stands out. The facility is exceptionally well-maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the overall member experience is outstanding. Liz and her team have created a true 5-star fitness facility, and it is always a pleasure to visit when I am in the area.
